Year 2 – Week 50 – Day 2

I am thrilled with how well Brendan has handled the big change in his feeding strategy. I am not looking forward to the weekend with no nursing help because this new plan is very time consuming and annoying. Every hour we have to switch the pump on or off and manage the formula right so it isn’t sitting out too long. We have timers set to help us get it right, I look forward to moving on to the next step. It is only short term! I am just relieved that there was no vomiting today!

Trevor woke up with some mega bedhead

What?!

“Hi, Friday garbage truck!”

It was making a special pickup for the house on the corner that had some tree damage

Trevor is getting better at independant play. He loves the playroom, I can’t wait until we can get this room finished

Brendan is showing off how he likes his sippy cup with water

He loves to try to open his food pump now and put his thumb on the gear as it turns. Naughty Brendan!

The camera realized right before I did that the lid on the bag was not closed. “Uh-oh! Man the pumps!”

  1. That truck is a stupid dumbhead nong nong! I’m glad Brendan is on course to lose that pump. It will take some time, but he’s on the way! Trevor’s hair has gotten so long! It has been 2 months since we visited already and saw him with shorter hair. If he can hold out 2 more weeks, we will fly in a stylist for him=).

  2. Trevors hair is great, he looks just like Bill in that picture. He really does love those garbage trucks hope some of the drivers wave to him. Go Brendan—get off that pump, it sounds like he has had a great start, I can see that you will have timers going today to remember to do the pump.

  3. Nice hair, Trevor! Some people work hard to get their hair to do that! I love your work boots. In fact, the whole ensemble was adorable!
That’s a pretty cool picture of the milk spilling. It’s great that Brendan seems to be tolerating the change in feeding. Can he drink any formula from a cup yet? Things are changing all the time at your house!
I hope your weekend goes smoothly with your no-nurse days.
    Love and hugs.
    Gramma xxxx

  4. Trevor has a new mini spike sooooooooooo cute. If it is there and shouldn’t be Brendan finds it. Maybe he will be a detective?????

  5. 🙂 🙂 Trevor needs his Electric guitar, and a back up band —– “Rovert and the Bedheads” 😉 🙂 🙂 🙂
Brendan, careful with the food pump, 😮 OOPS !!! 😮 “Now on deck, away the hazmat team” 🙂 🙂 🙂
Tree damage…..good excuse for the appearance of an “unscheduled garbage truck”.
There are more than a few less big old trees in my neighborhood today. for the last two days the “branch grinder” has been running all day long.
All the Ash trees have to go! 🙁 🙁 🙁 Emerald Ash Borers 😮 😮 😮
