Year 2 – Week 51 – Day 1

We started out this morning with a three mile walk. We had some trouble getting out the door, but we got the whole route done in a few minutes more than an hour. We even got rained on!

The boys did very well, they did not want to stop at all for pictures. They were eager to get out of the stroller when we got home.

We located the garbage truck on the walk so we knew it would be down our street any time. I tell Trevor to listen with his ears.

He has some time to kill, so he decides to sweep

The neighbor put down his winter grass seed so the birds have been really bad. Trevor is curious.

So I took him over there to chase the birds away

Brendan just wants to ring the doorbell

And we draw

Finally!

Brendan is not so sure about the garbage truck

Now he is happy

It doesn’t matter if we just spent hours playing outside, Trevor wants to go OUTSIDE!!!!

Evenings can be pretty crabby times. This play doesn’t last long until the pushing and crying starts. But I am happy for these moments anyway.

  1. Good morning from the Lake House and internet!! Just love, love, catching up on he boys’ blogs!!! Trevor is going from toddler to little boy right before our eyes!! What a wonderful role model for Brendan!! He is working hard on trying to catch up and is so adorable doing so!! 3 mile walk….awesome!! Tiffanie, after a day in your household, I do not think that I could manage 3 feet!! Kudos to all of you!! Am very happy that the garbage truck made its appearance!! I read a quote and thought of you and Bill…”trying to clean my house with a toddler (much less 2 toddlers), is like raking leaves in a hurricane”!! Prayers, love and hugs!!!! 🙂

  2. Oh dear, Brendan is just so unhappy, poor baby. Trevor and his garbage truck is still very important and he so looks forward to see it. The video is so funny with Trevor screaming “outside”, there is no doubt where he wants to go.

  3. So many cute pictures! Brendan is so cute even when he’s crying. The boys coloring with chalk is adorable. Maybe they will inherit your artistic ability.
There’s no doubt Trevor wants to be outside! After he can’t stay in his crib on the floor, you’ll have to pitch him a tent in the yard! 🙂 The video is funny!
I love Trevor’s shirt! I wish that worked for grown ups! 😉
Cute pictures, cute video, cute boys!
    Lots of love and hugs,
    Gramma xxxx
