Year 3 – Week 1 – Day 7 – Happy Halloween!

Before it was a holiday today, it was recycle day. Guess who had to be in the back of Bill’s truck to see the truck come down the street!

He thought he was so big, and such a helper!

Right after nap time today, two little monkeys flopping on the bed

Peekaboo barn house

Naughty climbing time

The afternoon/early evening was a bit chaotic, and I did not get a picture of Brendan in his adorable Halloween tshirt from Gramma. The shirts were so cute. It was actually cold outside this evening, so the boys had to wear their monster hoodies to stay warm. We didn’t do costumes this year, it just wasn’t worth the struggle.

Trevor made himself in charge of the candy distribution. He loved all the kids coming up to say trick-or-treat

We also handed out glow sticks. There was a very slow trickle of kids this year, it was not much of a turn out.

Brendan liked playing outside with Trevor, and they were nice to each other. They each got to go down the street to the neighbor’s haunted house too.

Trevor thought the bushes needed some glow

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween!

  1. I love the pictures of the boys in their monster hoodies, and Brendan having his pulled down over his eyes! They were cute little monsters. 🙂
It looks like they had fun with the glow sticks, and the whole idea of being outside in the dark. Next year they can go trick-or-treating, and then they’ll really love Halloween!
What a good little helper you have bringing in the recycle bin! He’s so cute standing in the truck bed waiting for the truck. As you said…now we’ve started something!
Brendan the climber! That should count as physical therapy!
    Lots of love and hugs,
    Gramma xxxx

  2. There wasn’t a whole lot of Halloween activity in the neighborhood here, this year. The cold, and the rain may have been a major “contributing factor”.
Looks like the boys had fun!
    “Monster hoodies” 🙂 🙂 and all !
