Well the sweet, mellow little alien clones from yesterday moved on and returned my hyper, crazy, barfing, tackling, dramatic little boys that I know and love with all my heart. Even so, it was a good day.
I wanted to take Trevor away to wear him out and give Brendan a chance to play without fear of being mowed down. We initially were going to go to the zoo, but we ended up on a scouting mission. We checked out a train park about 25min from the house. It will be a cool place to take visitors. I wish we knew about it when Granddaddy was here!

There was a very nice shaded playground that was not too crowded

They have a museum and a huge model layout and some old train cars that you can tour too, but we did not do that part. We had to get back home in time for lunch and garbage truck.

Trevor won the truck lottery today. The garbage and mailman arrived exactly together, only 30 seconds after the oxygen refill truck pulled away.

We have to catch the garbage pickup on the other side of the street too. He was willing to watch it from in his window in his bedroom, after getting ready for his nap.

“Look Gramma, I am spiderman again”

Brendan was cuter than ever today and had a pretty good day. He is really starting to develop lots of attitude and has perfected the wet noodle pickup-evasion technique. He decided that he wanted to walk around in my shoes today and nothing was going to stop him. He impressed his therapist with the skills he used to pull this and bear-walking off in big shoes. He had a good therapy session.

What a cool place for Trevor to go play! It looked like he had a lot of fun. There’s lots of cute pictures there!
Spider-man Trevor! It looks like he is clinging to the window, and it is still pretty amazing that he can stand on the little window ledge!
Brendan is so cute standing in your shoes. He must be working on developing his calves since those are “shape-ups”! I wonder if they are working on his arms, too? 🙂 Glad to hear he had a good PT session.
I miss the boys and can’t believe I have only been home for a week. It seems like much longer.
Lots of love and hugs,
Gramma xxxx
“Li’l B..igfoot” ??!!!!! 😮 😮 🙂 🙂 🙂
He does make those shoes look larger than they are. Go Brendan !!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Looks like Trevor had a good time at that train park, and, a lucky day at “truck Lottery” ! 🙂
Guess I’ll have to start saving up for another plane trip to Arizona, but looks like I will have to plan it carefully enough to “catch” the “sweet, mellow little alien clones”, on one of their rare visits.
“hyper, crazy, barfing, tackling, dramatic”- – -isn’t that what you find in “Webster’s”, when you look up the definition of, “Boys” 🙂 🙂 🙂
Trevor, – – – – I too, have an older brother 😉 😉 🙂
