Year 3 – Week 4 – Day 4

Poor Trevor. Bill wanted to upgrade his bed border to a pool noodle instead of my towel roll. The noodle is a little thicker, but it is too slippery and it moves under the sheet too much. So at 4:15am, the camera sent me this series.

The solution? I took the flannel blankets and wrapped them around the pool noodle and then put it back under his sheet. I think that gives it the bulk, weight, and friction that is necessary to keep that kid in the bed!!
Tonight he is out cold!

We survived another Mommy-alone day and it went pretty well. We went outside while it was so nice. Brendan wanted to go knock on the door to get Daddy.

Trevor points his finger and yells at Brendan when he is getting in to trouble, it is super cute.
They know they are not supposed to go down the side of the house.

Trevor and his rock cart

Brendan’s favorite thing today was the glitter wand

…and swinging of course

Mommy got her Christmas present from all the boys early!! It arrived in a giant box this morning and Bill put it together for me after work today. It was a lot of work to assemble, after dinner I was going to give it a quick spin around.
I decided to throw Trevor in real quick, but he was not dressed, so I just threw a blanket on him. (It was still 70+ degrees outside)

Brendan got a quick ride too!

Both boys loved it, signed “more” and “again” and then cried when we took them out of the seat.
Now we are so ready for people to put up Christmas lights, we will be doing some light tours!
It makes me want to get a second one for Bill so we can go out as a family.
I love the trike for riding with the boys. It is so much more stable, I can put oxygen and the suction machine in the basket and I don’t have to worry about trying to hold the bike upright and suction at the same time.
The front child seat is the coolest thing ever!! I L-O-V-E riding with them right there like that, and they are not in the way at all.
I am excited, tomorrow we will take a ride down the canal and see what all the construction trucks are up to lately. 🙂 Maybe we will hunt the garbage truck too!

  1. Wow, look at Brendan go with his walking! He’s so cute toddling around with his glitter wand, and in his swing with his big smile.
Poor Trevor! He’ll get used to his bed. What a good idea to give him a “speed bump”! 🙂
What a really nice Christmas present for Mommy…and the boys! They look so cute in their bike helmets! It should be a lot of fun for everyone.
    Lots of love and hugs,
    Gramma xxxx

  2. Good morning from the Lake House!! Catching up on the boys is soooo much fun!! You certainly have been busy!! Hoping that Trevor has finally remained in his really cool bed all night!! He is adorable!! Brendan truly is navigating really well! So heart warming to see him walking!! Those Christmas lights are different, must look for them up here! 🙂 I agree with the the boys, they are really cool!! Tiffanie and Bill, you are amazing…the boys are so lucky to have you as parents!! Prayers, love and big hugs!! 🙂

  3. ” Nice Bike ” 🙂 It looks like the same color as my old one, from the days on Valley Park Drive. I need to get that one “in the shop” for some minor repairs and a “tune-up” ( the 3 speed “gears”, are slipping )
Trevor looks like the “king of the world” sitting up front like that. 🙂 🙂 Happy to see his bed “situation” is under control.
Brendan, just keep on getting bigger and stronger. The day will come when “the tubes” are a distant memory, or a “question” when He see old photos.
Soon, too soon, they both will be running.
