Year 3 – Week 6 – Day 3

When people say that they had a crappy day, they usually mean it in the generally negative sense, not the literal one. Today for us was literally a crappy day! There were two distinct and unprecedented poop incidents today. I love my boys too much to torture their future selves with the details, but I can only say that I might have gagged multiple times. Beyond gross.

Other than that, it was a pretty good day. We finally decorated our little tree. Trevor thought the garland was a great highway for some trucks.

He “helped” put it on the tree. He tells me “good helper”

All done, it looks really cute with the bubble lights this year

Since I have been short on Brendan pictures, I took a bunch during bath time tonight. He was dunking trucks and dumping them out over and over and loving it. I couldn’t pick the cutest ones, so I posted them all.

  1. Good morning from the east coast!! Trevor’s bed head sequence is outstanding, even trumps my morning do (more the Rod Stewart look)!!! Your helpers did an fine job decorating the tree!! It looks great! Just love the bath pictures and especially the last Brendan picture, flashing that classic Brendan smile!!! Hope you had success finding the outdoor lights!! Enjoy this wonderful time of year with your two most precious gifts!!! Prayers, love and hugs!! 🙂

  2. I can hardly believe that a year ago right now I was there leading up to Christmas! I remember finding the little Christmas tree at Fry’s, and it is so cute and so perfect for your counter. You and the boys did a great job decorating it this year…without me 🙁 . It looks really great with your new bubble lights!
Brendan is very cute in the tub with his Christmas-y red and green trucks. I like the last picture with the truck in his mouth, and the very last picture of him with his million-dollar smile. 🙂
I am still fighting this plague (it’s really Shingles of the face and eye), and it doesn’t want to go away! I am determined to beat it soon, as there is just too much to do this time of year. I don’t like being housebound and isolated.
Lots of love a great big hugs,
