Year 3 – Week 6 – Day 7

Today was about spilling a bag of buttons and having them scatter 40 feet in every direction, missing the garbage truck because it came at 1:15pm in the middle of nap time, dealing with a food pump that is acting unreliably, and me just overall being cranky. I suppose as days go, these complaints are pretty minor. It wasn’t so bad now that it is all done!

Brendan is healthy, playing outside and being adorable. That is a good day all by itself.

I am mentally drained, and just tried to get through the day in one piece. On to week seven we go!

  1. Good Morning from the East Coast! Your blog opens with Brendan’s famous smile!! He is definitely photogenic!! Then move on to adorable Trevor!! He certainly has mastered vacuuming! Just love those pictures!! Has Trevor mastered sleeping in his grown up bed?? The earlier spycam shots are priceless!! Having two toddlers and the need to be hyper-vigilant, especially with Brendan, can exhaust the most high energy human!! Put that scenario with the fact that you do not have enough “down” time….that’s why you are exhausted and certainly have the right to be cranky!! God bless you Tiffanie!! Your two boys could not be in a better place!! They are happy, they are thriving and filled with love. You and Bill have accomplished wonders!! Prayers, love and really big hugs!! 🙂

  2. Tiffanie,
My “little sister” beat me to it this time. I can only add, that only parents of “multiples”, twins, triplets,…….could fully appreciate what you and Bill are coping with.
Gramma, has a pretty good idea what you are dealing with….Heather was five and a half, you were four and a month, when Shannon was born…..and eight days after that, I deployed to the Mediterranean, for six months. Then, she gets the message, ” put the house on the market, we’re moving to Illinois when I get back”. I suspect that “motherhood survival” is in your genes.
Every day I open this blog and see a big smile on Brendan’s face, is another day of prayers answered. Every day of seeing Trevor doing all the things he does best, growing, learning, doing, is another day that those prayers are answered. Every day, when I leave the blog, the “one more day” prayers, are asked.

  3. You have every right to be cranky now and then! You are an amazing mother! You are an amazing daughter! You don’t get enough sleep and quiet awake time. Who wouldn’t be cranky? You have two wonderful little boys that are that way because of you and Bill. I am a very proud mother! I love you all very much.
On to the cuteness! I love the last picture of Brendan, it’s a riot! The first pictures are so cute!
Trevor can clean my house any day! He looks so serious and professional. His apple almost matches his Jammie’s!
I hope today is a better one for you.
Lots of extra love and hugs,
    Gramma xxxxxx
