Year 3 – Week 7 – Day 1

Bill took a vacation day from work today, so we were able to get a ton of things done. He’s got the lights up outside and some big clean up projects are done. This afternoon, I was able to finally finish all of the extra sewing projects in my “queue”, so now I can get back to making Brendan more clothes.

The boys got a treat today too, a free junior Frosty from Wendy’s, thanks to some coupons from Mary Alyn! 🙂
Trevor really, REALLY liked his. You can’t tell me that he doesn’t make you want to go get one for yourself now. You are welcome, Wendy’s.

Brendan was very resistant at first, but if he thought we were not looking, he would dip his sheep in the frosty and then lick it off.

I suppose many children suffer the embarrassment of this type of photo. Trevor has been wanting to use the big potty instead of his little chair so today we got a cushioned potty ring adapter. Trevor loved it. Then I got Brendan to try it too! He is just too cute to skip this photo op!

  1. Good morning from the East Coast! OMG…need extra money?? Send Trevor’s photo op to Wendys!!! He’s a shoe in for a Wendys slushy spokesperson…you know, like the little boy in the finance commercial???….hands down, Trevor is cuter!!! Sly Brendan with his little sheep!! And then the potty photos!! Just priceless!! What a heart warming, make you smile, post today!! Hoping you too had tons of smiles today!! Prayers, hugs and love!!! PS, hope Gramma is mending well!! 🙂

  2. I would have to look through some pictures to be sure who the “potty pictures” are of, but I know I have a few! There could be some of you, or Heather, or Shannon, or Erin, or Kayla, or Ashley…or even Lindsay!! You’re right that so many kids have had one of those “Kodak moments “. I have to add that I don’t think anyone has the big smile about it that Brendan has! 🙂 He is Mr. Photogenic. 😉
Yummm….Frosty! I haven’t had one in a very long time. I remember one Christmas when you came home, we went out to run last minute Christmas shopping, and went through the drive through to get one … the temperature outside was like 5 degrees!! Trevor sure enjoyed his! You should contact Wendy’s and he could make a commercial. I’ve never seen one eaten off of a sheep! Cute pictures.
    Lots of love and hugs,
    Gramma xxxx

    • Haha…Aunt Letty and I were typing at the same time, and her fingers were faster because when I sent my post, there hers was!
Yes, I am finally mending, not 100%, but much much better, and no longer isolated! Thank you for your thoughts!
