Monday madness makes me tired. I rely heavily on Yo Gabba Gabba to get me through the tough spots and just try to hang on until nap time. When Bill was off work, I took Trevor on our longest bike ride yet, 4.6 miles to the dollar store and back. I didn’t take any pictures until dinner time.
It was a pretty unexpectedly epic mealtime. Brendan has pulled his trach out several times this week as he tries to pull off his HME. He wants to dissect and chew on them. The good news is, he went about three hours completely off oxygen and was rocking some amazing numbers!

Brendan’s little ducks were swimming in milk in the cupholder

I love how carefully Trevor watches everything that Brendan can do

Trevor got to scoop chocolate pudding with his shovel truck

Brendan was hesitant to touch the pudding, but he drove some cars through it

Then out of the blue, he started licking big licks of pudding from the side of the cup!

He was really in to the pudding tonight! We are so impressed and amazed at how well he was eating it. EATING IT!!

Then he was sweeping the milk and pudding together

Just like he sees his brother do, licking up the good stuff directly from the tray! He was a chocolatey mess!!

Just a quick video that still makes me laugh after watching it 5 times in a row

What an amazing post! 3 hours without O2?! Wow, silly monkey. And just look at Brendan go to town on that pudding cup, even licking the tray. I’m impressed. (Insert proud clapping.)
Yay Brendan!!!!
What an amazing day for Brendan! Three hours without oxygen AND eating chocolate pudding!! Way to go, Brendan! Today chocolate pudding…tomorrow prime rib, twice-baked potato, broccoli…well…maybe not. 😉 It is a step in the right direction!
Very funny video! 🙂 Trevor is so comical! This is a very nice blog, filled with good news. It was a great Monday!
Lots of love and hugs,
Gramma xxxx
Good morning from the soon to be snowy East Coast! Kudos to Brendan!! Touching and eating food!!! Trevor was a riot in the video!! I think you are the only one with trucks, versus dishes on your drain board after meals!! Priceless!! Prayers. love and hugs!!! 🙂
Yaaaay Brendon!
Brendan, “eating”???, as in food-in-mouth and swallowing? That’s absolutely fantastic !! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Add to that three hours off O2, and “rocking some amazing numbers!” !!!! 🙂 🙂
******** YES 🙂 !!!!!!! ********
The classic phrase for moments like this is: ” God is in his heaven, and all is right with the world ”
I’ll be content, just to say 🙂 🙂 😉 YAY !!!!! BRENDAN !!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Then, after that great news, a good laugh at the end of that video. Nicely done “T” !! 🙂
Great Brendan, you go big boy. Trevor’s look at his last statement is priceless.
