Bedtimes lately have been getting later and later. There has just been so much irregularity in our schedule. The boys sleep in later in the morning, then take later naps, dinner gets pushed back, and then they are in bed later. This hasn’t been working out well so we are going to push back.
It starts with trying to exhaust Mr. Energy himself. I took him to the park this morning to run.
When the UPS truck went by, he pointed and said “Ooooh! Go Trevor’s house!”

The canal has water again, we watched some equipment working on cleanup and grading.

He fed the ducks. When we left the park, we made a trip to the bank and went through a car wash. It all worked, he took a nap without huge resistance at the old normal time.

Brendan had a struggle today with the temporary nurse. We can’t wait for things to return to “normal” again when his regular nurse is back from leave.
He is still throwing up today, but it hasn’t bothered him much.

The boys each received a pretend “Gizmo” from Gramma. Trevor really likes it and now he has a new friend that has to go in his crib with him to sleep.

We started the process of taking down Christmas decorations and I have been striving to clean up and organize all the mess that has grown this month. We just need to get healthy again and back to routine and we will all feel better.

It sure took a lot to wear out “Mr. Energy”! He’s a busy boy. It’s good that it wore him out. I’m glad he likes his “Gizmo”.
I hope one day Brendan will like his “Gizmo”, too. I know he doesn’t like fuzzy things. I thought he might like a cute puppy, too.
Lots of love and hugs,
Gramma xxxx
