Brendan had a visit to his GI doctor this afternoon. He has actually lost a little weight, coming in at 34.5in tall and 26lbs 8oz. Since the last time he saw this doctor Oct 3rd, he has learned how to walk and increased his activity level significantly! So it is time he gets more calories. His formula plan was changed slightly but otherwise all else is the same.

Brendan decided to do something else new today. He was able to drink out of a straw!! That is a huge deal for him, figuring out the sucking motion and taking a drink. We were excited!
While Brendan was at the doctor’s, Trevor was helping Daddy play “Fruit Ninja”
He calls out fruit as they come on screen. “Strawberry!! Banana!! Kiwi!!” It is really cute.
Brendan will eventually try it too!
Trevor made dinner again tonight.

The boys had a silly night. Brendan came with me to put Trevor to bed and the two of them ended up jumping and doing somersaults on Trevor’s bed for almost an hour, giggling themselves breathless.
Brendan wore his cap for almost 2 solid hours, without oxygen. His numbers were great!

What really great news at the GI doctor! Brendan is doing so well, and that’s wonderful. 🙂
“Funny Trevor” is right! It’s nice to see Brendan wireless, too.
I spoke with a “wrong number” today for 45 minutes that sounded just like you! 😉 I’m not sure how that happened! There must be gremlins in the phone lines. ha-ha!

Both, welcome sights, to eyes that are growing tired of seeing all that snow hiding everything . It is good to hear that Brendan is doing so well, prayers do get answered.
Good afternoon from the Lake House!! It is nice to be here, but we are growing weary of driving in the snow!! More coming tomorrow! Love the playroom and am sure all that shelving lends itself to great storage potential!! Yay Brendan using a straw!!!!! Yay Trevor for that really cool dance sequence and the “fruity” recognition!! Looked like Bill and Trevor had tons of fun!! So relieved that your family seems to be on the mend!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂
