There are a TON of pictures today because I just couldn’t decide which ones to use, they were all too cute! We were very excited to take Brendan on an outing to the zoo today! It was Nurse Vanessa and me and the boys, unfortunately Bill had to work.
When I asked Trevor, “Do you want to go to the zoo?”, his answer was, “Giant noodle, Trevor loves it.”
He was happy to show Brendan the enormous yellow curl that is the noodle.

We were also excited to see how Brendan would like feeding a giraffe. He was impressed!

The boys both liked that the baboons were right up on the glass. One baboon even gave Brendan a high five. Brendan was happy that there was glass in between.

They both like their zoo cups. Trevor asks for “Zoo coke refill?” because they get free drinks in these cups.

Brendan didn’t want to touch the horse, but he liked it.

We went to the goat petting area. Brendan is signing “all done”.

He finally warmed up to the idea and would walk all around, as long as you didn’t try to make him go near a goat.

Trevor wanted to help this goat eat sticks

They loved driving the tractor

There are so many more things for Brendan to see, but we ran out of time. We will have to go back soon! Trevor really wanted a ride on the merry-go-round, but we had to go.
Overall, Brendan had an amazing morning!
We had to do some laundry because both boys reeked like goats! They were “helping”

Brendan figures that if he can’t get in, he will just play like that

Trevor is turning off the light on Brendan

Other than all that excitement, we also had a pretty bad fall-out-of-bed at 3:30am. Trevor was standing at the foot of the bed and must have toppled over the footboard. I only have this shot from the motion alert that happened right before the big bang and the loud crying. He was shaken but fine. No sign of any damage today.

Then there was the part where I had to pull a kernel of frozen corn out of Trevor’s nose with a pair of tweezers…
What a Friday!

I LOVE this blog!!! It is beyond wonderful that Brendan could go to the zoo and have such a good time. ๐ ๐
You’re right that there are so many cute pictures, how could you choose? I couldn’t even pick out a favorite.
I love the laundry pictures, they are hilarious! Brendan is a riot with his leg up in the dryer. He sure is flexible! And the pictures of the boys IN the dryer…so cute!
I’m glad Trevor’s fall out of bed was not serious. Frozen corn up his nose! I’m sure at the time it was no fun, but it’s a funny way to top off your otherwise amazing day.
It’s nice to see you out having fun with both boys and getting to be in pictures with them.
It looks like the only monkeys weren’t at the zoo. Trevor was a monkey scaling the washer, and Brendan was a monkey climbing into the dryer!!
Love it all !!
Hugs and kisses,
Gramma
So, Trevor was trying to inhale his corn? Or save it for later? Ewww.
It is SO neat that Brendan could have a zoo outing! He looked like he was having a great time! I like that Trevor was giving him kisses. And now that you know they both fit in the dryer, you will know where to look if one of the boys is “missing”.
Giant noodles rock!
Yes a fantastic blog. I loved where Trevor Kissed Bendan….I love the way Brendan swings his leg over his knee. so cute.. Trevor loves that noodle
so nice to see them both out enjoying the day. Vanessa took some great shots of you with the boys and I know there are not too many of those as you are usually behind the camera. You look so happy and so do they. V
Good morning from the expecting more snow East Coast! Hands down, I am with Trevor….just love the noodle! He was so excited to show Brendan his “find”, he just had to kiss him! Adorable. All of you with the giraffe was great! So glad that you had a fun outing! Here’s hoping that Trevor has learned from his exploring and will not go bump in the night again. However, if he is like his cousin Michael, he will try again until he figures out what went wrong! I will throw out an extra prayer for Trevor, many hugs and lots of love!! ๐
” Hereโs hoping that Trevor has learned from his exploring and will not go bump in the night again. ”
I agree with Aunt Letty. Trevor, there are enough things that “go bump in the night”…….they really don’t need any “help”.
It took me a minute to realize that the glass between Brendan, and the Baboon, was causing a double reflection of Brendan, that was almost perfectly placed over the face of the Baboon !! Talk about things that go bump in the night ! ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ ๐
In the dryer, they look like two Astronauts in their space capsule ! ๐
“To infinity and beyond ! ” ๐ ๐ ๐
Oh, today is day one, of year 22 here in the Condo.
