Year 3 – Week 16 – Day 6

Brendan had PT this morning. He has had a tendency to roll his left ankle and we were having him evaluated. The good news is that it just seems like he needs some better shoes and some strengthening exercises. We will have to go shoe shopping.

Other than doing tons of laundry, it was a fairly lazy day. Trevor had his special TV watching set up all ready.

There is an episode of Curious George that makes him giggle a lot.

Brendan is back to not eating anything, even from the pouches.

“I’ll just put this lid back on”
316b15

He did like playing with these cold little sweet peppers.

We practiced colors and he would put them to his lips to feel the cold

He is helping me cook dinner and sorting dry egg noodles. He was pouring them from one cup to another.

Trevor spent about two hours outside today digging in dirt with a spade, and Brendan pushed the shopping cart around the yard. It is supposed to potentially be 88 degrees on Saturday! We are enjoying the beautiful weather while we can. Sorry, snow-covered family! Hope everyone stays safe through the next round of storms.

  1. Very cute series of Brendan pictures this time. 🙂 His smile warms up any cold and snowy day!
Trevor looks comfy! What a silly smile!
It’s nice that you can be outside. All we want to do here is stay inside! Maybe someday we’ll see the grass again, but it’s not happening anytime soon.
    Lots of love and hugs,

  2. 🙂 🙂 While Brendan was busy “putting the lid on”, and being happy, Trevor was “finding his seat” for the “George show”. Trevor has that, “I’ve got both chairs smile”, on. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 😉
As good as 88 degrees would feel right now, I hope the temps come up slowly. We do not need a “sudden thaw”. Every new inch of snowfall, has the weather guessers, and the news reporters, making comments about the flood risk of a fast snow melt. We’ve got “mountain ranges” at the sides of almost all our roads, lofty enough that the Wisconsinites have stopped calling us, “Flatlanders”. 😮 😉 🙂
Last night’s news, had a segment about the four foot thick layer of ice on Lake Michigan, I am beginning to understand why my “Therms usage”, has been so high. 😮
Brendan, “sorting the dry egg noodles”, is priceless ! 🙂 He seems to be carefully inspecting each one. 🙂
