Year 3 – Week 19 – Day 3

Brendan had a better night with Bill last night, they both got some sleep. Brendan even took a decent nap, but Trevor did not. Trevor got out of his bed, opened his door a crack, and yelled into the hallway, “Mommy? Is Trevor OK?” I guess that meant he wanted me to check on him.
I took him on an errand with me so that he wouldn’t wake up Brendan and he had his very first all-out meltdown in a store. He screamed the whole time, and couldn’t get a grip. He must have really needed that nap!

When we got home, he played outside for a while. He was delighted to splash in puddles of mud from all the rain we got.

Tonight, the boys had a big “burp rag fight”. They were both extra silly.

In order to get the 7 small oxygen tanks that we have up off the floor and away from toddler hands, I sewed an organizer that is now mounted on the inside of the hall closet door. I keep finding projects that get in the way of getting onesies done!

  1. Silly boys! That burp rag fight looked like they had fun.
I’m glad to hear that Brendan had a better night. Poor Trevor! He usually likes to go shopping. I hope he sleeps well tonight.
What a great idea to make an oxygen tank holder! It turned out really well. Your creativity is endless! 🙂
I sure could use a trip to AZ. Too much going on here.
    Lots of love and hugs,

  2. Good morning from the , yup, it is snowing again…east coast!! Too bad it was Bill’s night with Brendan and not yours…Moms always need that extra little bit of rest when possible! The boys did seem to have a ton of fun with the burp rag!! Poor Trevor, melting down while on an outing. 🙁 Flashback to when your cousins were young…when that happened, I always forgot one or more items on my list!! Hoping that you were more successful!! All the best for a more restful night for Mommy and Daddy!! Prayers, love and hugs!! 🙂
