Year 3 – Week 19 – Day 5

It was a day full of tasks. I started out early taking our van in for service. I never thought the day would come when I would appreciate the quiet 2hrs of waiting at the dealership. Trevor played in Bill’s office while Bill worked through some meetings and then they came to pick me up.
At the end of the day, the van needed a new water pump to stop the weird squealing noise it was making.

When we got home, both boys had to fully explore Daddy’s truck

I wasn’t in the mood for hanging around and waiting for the garbage truck today. We did some yardwork out front and when it still didn’t show, we got on the bike and hunted it down. Everything is starting to bloom and get colorful now. There are lots of oranges in the street and Trevor kept wanting me to squish them by driving over them.

We watched the truck dump about 80 cans before we finally headed home for lunch.

I had a paperwork meeting for Brendan’s services, plus I got nearly through two more onesies while the boys napped.

  1. Good morning from the still snow covered, dreary East Coast!! Seeing those beautiful blooms in your post left us yearning for spring!! The boys are growing up so fast!! And you continue to expose them to so many different experiences that Mom’s with just one healthy child may fail to do. Once again, I applaud you and Bill!! Kudos to terrific parents!! Prayers, hugs and love!!! 🙂

  2. We are getting more snow as I write!! We are supposed to have temps in the 40’s-50’s! We can’t see to get out of the driveway! Unbelievable winter!
On to the cuteness! I love Brendan in his tan shorts, and he’s just as cute in his tan pants. 🙂 How does he stand on the armrest?? haha!
When you see a truck in the neighborhood…who you gonna call? Truckbuster! Trevor looks adorable in his helmet out hunting down the garbage truck.
Send us some warm and sunshine! I have to go out and use the snowblower now!
    Lots of love and hugs,

  3. I needed a new picture for the bulletin board, so printed out “Twins doing the twin thing” 🙂
    The twins ( I -guys ), and the Boys…. 😮 🙂 🙂 😉
It’s still snowing, and the plows are working the streets.
I do not have a GPS unit, but my neighbor does, and I was able to verify that Vernon Hills Is still in Illinois, and really hasn’t been moved to the North Pole 😮
Nor has the whole State of Illinois, even though it feels like it.
Got the new furnace just in time. I cringe at the thought of how many Therms I would have used with the old one. this “efficient” one, has used quite enough.

  4. It took me months to get that seat in the “just right” position and 12 seconds for the boys to mess it up. And the stereo EQ is off, the heat was on, and the dome light didn’t want to turn off. All things considered that’s not bad.
Just think, one of those lucky boys will get that truck when they turn 16. Less then 14 years from now.
Wonderful pictures honey!! I love you and the boys.
