We started the day with a visit to the pediatrician to follow up on Brendan’s ear. The doc says that it looked perfect.
Brendan was kind enough to douse my lap with throw-up this morning, and then he also had a really bad spell in front of the doctor. That actually helped him to understand what Brendan is going through. The doc made a phone call to Brendan’s GI doc and we have a new feeding plan again. Brendan has gained just over 3lbs in the last 5 weeks, so I think they were pushing him too hard with calories.
He is also going to start a new medication to help his motility and hopefully reduce his reflux.
He had a pretty good day after the morning trip. We are all glad because tonight we had planned another campout in “Gramma’s House”. This time, we started earlier in the evening so that we could be sure to know what we need for a trip. Every time we took something from the house to the trailer, we wrote a list. That will be our checklist for the real trip.

That beam where Trevor is grabbing was a hazard. Trevor would suddenly stand up in the bed under it and he would crack his head on it. 3 times… you would think he would learn.
We learned that it is easy to give baths in the shower stall. I used to use this big party tub for making fish food. 🙂
Brendan really enjoyed it.
Trevor had a blast too, exploring all the ways he could fit in the new tub.
They are right now trying to wind down from all the insanity, watching a video on an iGuy. We are about to try to put them in their beds.

I hope that the change in feeding for Brendan will finally resolve the stomach issues. He was doing so well before. You all deserve a break!
All of the trailer pictures are good, but the tub pictures are great! Brendan is very cute enjoying his bath, and Trevor is hilarious! The one with his face over the side of the tub with his “goatee” is funny. 🙂
Here’s hoping for a good night. I’m supposed to be sleeping in “Gramma’s house” now…who would have thought your whole family would be there instead? Have fun!!

Good morning from the East Coast! Here’s hoping all continues to go well with The Gramma’s House experiment!! I feel a road trip coming up….even if it is just to the local mall!! What fun! Also hoping that the novelty of Gramma’s house never wears off and the boys always love the time spent in it!! Actually happy for you that Brendan hurled in front of the doctor!! Sounds like your new plan may be beneficial??!!! Fingers crossed!! Pictures were priceless. Trevor sprawled out in the tub was adorable!! Prayers. love and hugs!! 🙂

I was out last night doing the “politics” thing, meeting, and talking to several of the candidates on the local tickets.

Sleeping in “Gramma’s House”, like sleeping almost anywhere not the usual sleeping place, takes a little “getting used to”. Looks like the boys might be off to a good start, making a camping trip a little more possible.
