For a Monday, it was a really good day. No barfing! We enjoyed being outside. I think Gramma might be thawing from the IL weather, although it was still chilly overnight.
Everyone had to start with checking their email in the morning

Gramma brought the boys some new books that they love. Brendan is being a little mean to Gramma and only wants to see her on his terms. He won’t let her pick him up and cuddle him yet.

The boys want to drive, but the jeep needs a little “work” first

Trevor got distracted by his favorite dirt corner

Brendan had nobody to drive him around! But he was cool…

He figured out how to do it himself!!
There was some trampoline time!

Trevor’s cookies were so popular, he decided he had to make some for Gramma

He is hammering up Dark Chocolate Peanut M&Ms instead of using chocolate chips this time

What Trevor does best in the kitchen – taste testing

Trevor just could not take a nap this afternoon. He must be too excited. He was tired tonight but nowhere near as emotional as yesterday. We were so impressed with how active and funny Brendan was today.

We had a very busy day today! Tiffanie said it felt like I’ve been here 4 days already, instead of 1 1/2! 🙂
I can’t believe the change in Brendan since I was here last. He runs around, and does so many things with a new confidence…it’s great! He’s funny, he’s smart, he teases his brother, and he has the cutest smile, and contagious laugh! He’s playing a little “hard-to-get”, but when he wants something, he lets me do it. Now and then, I can pick him up, but he’s still not sure that I’m not a new nurse or physical therapist.
Trevor is my little buddy. He met me at the airport and put his arms up to be picked up, and I got a big kiss. He knows how to play this Gramma! 😉 He is talking all the time about everything now! He says some of the funniest things! He has more energy than 3 little boys. He doesn’t miss a thing!
I’m so happy that I was able come for this visit. It’s warm and sunny here, too. 🙂
Lots of love (I’m taking care of the hugs personally),
Gramma xxxx
Good morning from the East Coast What a wonderful post!! Brendan is hysterical navigating his jeep!! Trevor just oozes energy on the trampoline!! It is heartwarming reading a post full of fun with happy little boys!! Hoping that Gramma is thawing out and just loving her visit!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂
Great pictures !!
Brendan driving.. Looks like the roads around here during rush hour. 😮 🙂
>{{ I still haven’t figured out why it’s called “rush” hour….The speed of traffic is definitely not a “rush” }}<
only, Brendan looks more coordinated than the *drivers* during "rush" hour. 😉 🙂
I think Trevor enjoys being the official "Taste Tester" 😉 😉 🙂
…………..do you think He may have learned that from Gramma ? 😉 :)………..
That looked like a *Taste Testing Team* to me ! 🙂
