Today was so long and full that as I sat down to go through pictures, I had already forgotten everything that we did this morning. That is why I love this blog and make the time for it.
All of our days slip by, and more than half the time we are in a tired stupor. Reflecting on the special moments, the average, the simple, the hilarious, and the stressful.. it is awesome. I know years from now, I will cherish all of these photos of this week with family. I had so many to go through, it was tough to pick!
Kieran is still getting up at the break of dawn. He doesn’t get to come in to the house because his cousins are still sleeping. So this morning, we all went out front to let him try the trike ride that the boys love so much. He was a little skeptical at first!

Then he decided that he loved it, especially going fast!

Brendan is having some minor respiratory issues. Two vest treatments and and breathing treatment with some albuterol seemed to help him. He was acting fine and playing, oxygen needs were fine. He just sounded rattly and wet.

Trevor decided to take Kieran to IKEA this morning so that they could run around while Brendan dealt with his treatments. We didn’t take any pictures, but they had a good time and we got Trevor’s favorite lunch.
Those boys took an awesome nap. Not Brendan though – he skipped his. To be fair, the albuterol can do that to a kid. While Brendan played, Shannon raided my flannel stash and we cut and sewed almost 100 new cloth baby wipes in every color and pattern. You can’t visit here without it involving crafts or sewing at some point.
Tonight, we broke out one of the visitor favorites. The ball pit! We had to get a new pool because the other one had too many holes. The boys were ready but Brendan had the pump. We took it away to keep the other boys safe.

Brendan told us how he felt about that! We had to give it back.

Of course, my boys love the ball pit.

While I was cooking dinner, Brendan and Bill invented a new little game.

I have loved having Kieran here, he is quite an awesome little guy. The only downside is that having three little ones around makes it pretty much impossible to have adult conversation, so we have not been able to enjoy Shannon and Jon’s company as much as we would like. We are all totally wiped out!!!

Good morning from the East Coast!!! Awesome!! Fantastic!! Makes you smile!! Delightful post!! Hoping Brendan is still OK!! Prayers, hugs and love!!! 🙂
I’m try
Sorry…hit the “post” button!
I was going to say, I’m trying to think of more words to describe this amazing blog! Aunt Letty kind of summed it up!! 🙂 My personal favorite pictures are…all of them!!
Aunt Shannon will have quite a blog to write at home! What a week of adventures, and fun with cousins, Kieran is having! His adorable little face says it all! 🙂
Your comment about looking back and cherishing all of these wonderful pictures is exactly how I feel. I would add that I also cherish all of the things you write as well, which describes how you feel, how the boys are feeling (both physically and emotionally), and everything else that describes a day at your house. Even though I would love to be able to hug and kiss and play with the boys every day, it allows me to stay connected, and somehow still feel a part of your lives. For that I am very grateful, and thank you for taking the time and energy, and putting the love into this blog that you do every day.
This day’s blog is amazingly cute, and silly, and there are so many adorable little personalities going on there…it is indeed “awesome “!!
It’s so nice that the boys will all be able to look back at the pictures and videos, and they will be able to smile and also cherish them. They will also see what awesome parents they have, who devoted so much time, energy, and love to them, and the rest of their family. It’s really beyond description in words! I am a very proud Mom and Gramma. xoxo
Lots of love and hugs and kisses,
Gramma xxxxxxx
