Year 3 – Week 29 – Day 2

We are sad to have to say goodbye to family again, we really loved having Uncle Jon, Aunt Shannon, and Kieran here for the week.

They arrived with three suitcases and left with four! Trevor was trying to smoosh everything down to fit!

There wasn’t room to take home a Brendan or a Trevor. But Kieran will be thrilled when he gets home to find that his favorite cube and “beads everywhere!” game went with him! We sent a bunch of other toys too!

I got to rock a little Kieran for a nap one last time. It was really interesting to watch the mom-jealousy at play with all three boys this week. Trevor was very clear today that he wanted me to put Kieran down.

We propped him on a pillow and his new minky dinosaur blanket before his flight home.

We parked at the airport and Trevor and I rode the Sky Train to the terminal to say goodbye.

On the train back to the car, Trevor was already asking where Kieran went.

Everyone is truly exhausted. Kieran had a seriously drippy nose this morning, Brendan’s chest is still yucky, and I am feeling like something is trying to take root in my sinuses too. Brendan had a horrible restless night last night which kept me up with only 10-15min bursts of sleep. I really hope everyone gets a good night of rest tonight!

  1. It’s always hard to say goodbye. I’ve surely done it enough the past few years! The time does go so fast. It sure looks like you showed Kieran a great time, and fun was had by all. Everyone goes home from your house with more than they came with! 🙂 (including rocks!)
Kieran’s new blanket looks really nice, and very soft. What a really nice souvenir! You make sure everyone gets to benefit from your amazing talents. Even the new clean-up cloths are great!
Trevor finally got to go into the airport to say goodbye instead of a pick-up. I think all of the boys will miss each other!
I hope no one will be sick for very long, and everyone recuperates from vacation and time zones!
It is officially Mother’s Day here, so I’d like to wish one of the most amazing mothers I know a very Happy Mother’s Day!! I love you, Tiffanie!
Lots of love and hugs and a good night’s rest,
