Year 3 – Week 30 – Day 2

We are getting closer to all being healthy again, every day is an improvement. Today we just tried to rest and recuperate.

Brendan likes to wear Daddy’s shoes.

We broke out the giant bag of Mega Blocks again. Brendan wanted to be a Mega Block.

Trevor actually builds with them now. It is tough, because Brendan just wants to walk over and Brendanzilla whatever Trevor is trying to make. Then the crying and hitting starts.

Brendan can build, but he prefers to crash and make Trevor cry!

By the end of the day, Trevor had built a “beautiful castle”. With the exception of the solid yellow wall that I made, Trevor made this structure all by himself. He used every available block.

It is hard to tell in pictures, but I was thoroughly impressed with his sorting colors and how well the whole thing was locked together and stable!

  1. Some day Brendan will fit in Daddy’s shoes! 🙂 He will also be a very man if he fills those shoes. xo
Look at that adorable innocent smile that Brendan has being a mega block. Who would believe that he can turn into Brendanzilla and torment Trevor? 😉
Trevor’s castle is very impressive! It looks as though he has his Mommy’s creative talent, and Daddy’s building talent all rolled into one. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more Trevor creations.
You have very special little boys! And the part I love is that I can brag about the special little boys that I have! 🙂
I’m so happy that everyone is getting better.
Get well wishes go to Uncle Jules’ Dad who was hospitalized today with a probable serious case of pneumonia.
    Lots of hugs and love,

  2. Good morning from the East Coast!! Glad to hear that all of you are on the mend!!! Trevor’s creations are awesome! Just cannot believe, that the “other one” with that magnetic smile, would even consider tormenting Trevor???!!! (LOL) Hoping that Uncle Jule’s Dad is also on a quick road to recovery!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂

  3. I didn’t get to the Blog on Sunday, so didn’t know until today that Jules’ Dad was hospitalized. Hope that visit is short and He is well again quickly.
Trevor……I am impressed !!! that was quite a “build” you did ! Keep up the good work ! 🙂 🙂
    Brendan…..I didn’t know your feet had grown “that” big, so quickly 😮 😮 🙂 🙂 🙂
Those are some pretty big shoes to fill, give it some time and you’ll get there.
