Year 3 – Week 31 – Day 3

It was a better day. I am not feeling well yet, but I got through the day with saltines and plain rice. Bill got a tremendous amount of work done off of our ongoing to-do list. He finished the painting and mounting of the ironwork for the wall outside.

We tried to enjoy the evening while it is still nice enough to be on the patio.

We can’t hang out on the patio without a Brendan selfie

We didn’t want to go in when it was so nice out. So we decided to do the bubble bath outside. The air was warm, but the hose water was not. Bill kindly brought buckets of hot water from the kitchen to make their bath nice.

Our wall has a bunch of solar lights, just bright enough for some “ambiance”.

Trevor has this new trick that he does where he leans way out over the footboard on his bed and opens the top of his dutch door so he can look out. He did this at 5:30 this morning, and he did it about 5 minutes ago as I type. I hope he sleeps well. We all need the rest.

  1. So glad that you are feeling better. I think today’s blog makes up for yesterday’s! There are so many cute pictures!
Nice job on the wall, Bill. It turned out really well.
The pictures of the boys in the little tub are very cute. 🙂 Its nice to see you in a picture, too.
Hope everyone gets well and stays well!
    Lots of love and hugs,

  2. Rub-a-dub-dub two pips in a tub,
And what do you think they mean.
Well I’m not sure, but they don’t look sore,
and they certainly do look clean. 😉 🙂 🙂 🙂
The patio looks great in the last fading light of day, with the solar lights, and the street lights in the background.
It’s Memorial Day. I got out a couple of old records, The music from the old Television series, “Victory At Sea”, and have it playing.
Uncle Robert and I would go out in the back yard and “fly strafing runs” with our plastic model airplanes, after watching the show……….we were young, then.
