Year 3 – Week 35 – Day 3

I am fighting to keep my eyes open as I type this and it is only 9:00pm. Trevor decided 5:30am was a good time to wake up in the summer. As much as I hoped he would go back to sleep, he did not. We did get in a bike ride to one of the grocery stores and bought some bacon-cheddar bagels for breakfast.

It was a long day of misbehaviors, I am so tired of the sound of my own voice. I just have to constantly be telling two boys to knock it off.

It was ice cream truck night, so we did go out on the patio. Mommy may yell a lot, but Brendan has his good pal to back him up.

No.

This $2 water rocket from the grocery store was a hit with all of the boys

Even at high speed for my camera, one frame it is there…

The next it is gone except for a bit of a splash. It really took off like a….well… rocket.

I did try to take out a sewing project today. Mostly I spent all the time that the boys napped cutting out circles. I made a washable pad for Brendan’s g-tube because he has been easily pulling off the 2×2 split gauze.

This has owls. (and a snap) I cut material for a bunch of them, but only got done making one. 🙂

Time to close this laptop, my eyelids are heavy.

  1. Great pictures. Love the one of Brendan with his back up buddy. Neither looks like they ever have a bad moment. Trevor sure likes his icecream.

  2. Good morning from the Lake House! All kinds of things going on in the Ayelsworth household!! Launching rockets, creative g-tube dressings, yummy ice cream (soon Brendan, you will love each and every one!!), training new personnel (very fatiguing), having a super time at the zoo, etc.!!! No wonder you are tired! We are pooped just reading the blogs!! Priceless….sharing a Brendan meltdown (poor baby)….thought for sure that, he too, was going to yank the books off the shelves!! And Trevor’s birthday greeting for Aunt Shannon…adorable!! Hoping that you will find an opportunity to catch up on much needed rest! Big hugs, love and prayers! 🙂

  3. Brendan and Einz seem to have an “understanding”.
So, “Crabs” 😮 like Strawberry Cheesecake, but not necessarily a “choco-taco” 🙂 🙂

Last night was not a “modelbuilding” night, Sumpter 250’s “Summer 2014 Scratchbuild Challenge” at “The Gauge” (www. Big Blue Trains.com ), got put on hold, and the night became a “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” night instead. 😉 🙂
