The first day with family was filled with lots of joy and some big concerns. We are hoping that the doctors are able to find a way to help Great-Grandma through all of her new struggles. We are so happy that we could be there this morning and that she was able to finally meet Brendan in person. The boys got all dressed up in their snappiest outfits and spent some time with her.

The boys all held hands to go through the parking lot

At Gramma’s house, Brendan wanted to rock his new cousin Rhys

Lunchtime chaos! Ashley and Kayla and Aunt Heather arrived. We were just one cousin short of a full pallooza! (Rhys was present, just not pictured here)

The threesome played a lively melody on Gramma’s piano

Caleb and Trevor wore their new tool belts from Gramma and went out on the deck to help the guys building

Hammer high five! Twice, Caleb and Trevor tried to give each other a hug and both times they fell over and bonked their heads on something. They were good buddies today though.

We brought Gramma a piece of the landscape from Arizona. She has to figure out where to put it. It isn’t fully unwrapped yet, but it is a rock that looks like a meteorite.
Rhys really likes Aunt Heather!

If my boys were already 3yrs old, I could call these guys the three-by-threes. We wish Kieran could have been here already for “flying time” and ring-around-the-rosie.
Swinging with Ashley and Gramma

Splashing Ashley with hot tub water

Mr. Caleb-Cutie-Cake! Trevor wanted to use the flowers like hammers
Rhys climbed up in to the recliner to play Brendan’s iGuy while nobody was watching.
Ok, so he was sleeping, and being seriously handsome while doing it!
We did bubble baths in Gramma’s deep Jacuzzi bath tub.
The boys were all clean and in their jammies for the drive home to the trailer, and as I hoped, they fell asleep in the car. I carried two little rag dolls and plopped them into bed without so much as a sigh or a blink. They were out cold!! We are full of gratitude for all the work and planning done by Gramma and Aunt Heather to host and feed everyone and for everyone that helped wear out the little ones tonight!
It was full-of-crazy today, but it was wonderful being with the whole family and seeing everyone again. Li’l K and family will be coming soon to complete the total pallooza!

What a day full of cuteness we had today! 🙂 It was not only the obvious cuteness that we could see, but all of the cute things that were said. The interaction between the boys was funny, sweet, silly, and crazy all rolled into one! Kayla and Ashley did a great job helping to entertain and chase boys! It’s not surprising that there were tired kids tonight!
I am so happy to have our AZ family here. I have missed Brendan and Trevor so much! It’s sad that Great-Grandma can’t be with us all day as planned, and that the only time she’ll spend with everyone will be at the rehab center. She was so looking forward to the visit and was very happy to see them, and Caleb and Rhys, too! We’re hoping for answers to what’s making her ill, and ways to help her feel better.
Tomorrow is another exciting day!! Kieran will be coming to complete the cousin palooza! 🙂 They will not all be together until Thursday. More cuteness on the way…
Lots of love and hugs,
Gramma xxxxxx
I love it! It looks like so much fun was had by all. There is no better medicine than the joy of happy kids – let’s hope it helps (Great-)Grandma feel better. We cannot wait to complete the palooza. Just have to pack, drop off Sadie, load the car, and hit the road!
So glad you made it there safely. Looks like everyone is having a wonderful time!

Hoping that Great-Grandma will be able to see , the seven great-grandchildren, once Kieran gets here.
