Brendan wanted to wake up Trevor this morning. But that didn’t go so well.

We had an opportunity to attend another HopeKids event this morning. We were able to get in to the Phoenix Children’s Museum to see if the boys were old enough to enjoy it yet. The girls scoped out this place last year when they visited, that seems like a lifetime ago! It was PACKED and noisy, and both boys were a bit overwhelmed, but they settled in and had some fun.

Going through the car wash, yeah!

Trevor was fascinated by the random xylophones made out of bolts and wrenches. Both boys liked to play them.

Noodle forest. Large children running and howling like monkeys, employees yelling “walk! waaalk!! WALK!!!!” Lots of toddler collisions.

Fastest way to lose a toddler
Brendan handled all the noise and madness very well.

Trevor found his happy place – funky gas station

Exploring the 3-story climbing structure

And after allllllll that….two boys, no naps!!
I took them to Sam’s Club by myself in the afternoon in order to keep them busy and because we needed diapers. To make my life easier, I bribed them with frozen yogurt so that they would ride quietly in the cart. It worked.

What a fun day the boys had! It looks as though the Children’s Museum was a lot of fun, but a lot of work for you, too. 🙂
I love the Sam’s Club pictures! The boys looked so cute eating their frozen yogurt, but I especially like the last picture of Trevor giving Brendan a taste of his bacon sample!! Too funny! 🙂
The funny thing I noticed is that you had a roasted chicken in your cart, and we had the very same thing for our supper tonight. What are the odds?!
Lots of love and hugs,
Gramma xxxx
Wow what a great day filled with all kinds of fun. Just to see Brendan trying foods and liking some of them is so great. Trevor is sure to be an engineer or chief mechanic by the way he goes for “fixin it”…..Bet you and Bill were as exhausted as the boys…Good job bribing Mom
Good morning from the East Coast!! Whew!! Brendan and Trevor, you have been busy, busy boys!! Heartwarming to see Brendan now sharing away from home adventures with Trevor and having so much fun!! The “children’s museum” was quite an adventure!! Just loved the boys hiding behind the curtain in the earlier post. And the lengthy adorable video of shenanigans was very insightful!! Wish I had 1/2 their energy!! Tiffamy, you and Bill are amazing parents!! Referring back to another earlier post, what a blessing you are to your Grandma! You certainly bring joy to her life. Sending huge hugs, continued prayers and lots of love! 🙂
Just so sorry Tiffanie on misspelling your name! Computer started an automatic shut down before I could proofread so I hit send in a hurry! Ugh. Hugs!!
