Year 3 – Week 48 – Day 2

I knew that I would not be able to handle dealing with the two boys alone all day in the house, and it is so hot and muggy and mosquitoey outside. I took them to Kohls this morning and turned them loose in the toy section. We also got a really great deal on a bunch of winter pants. (We didn’t buy any toys!)

We have still been fighting the last bit of the colds we all had but this afternoon, the cold seems to have made a big comeback with both boys. Trevor has a nasty sounding cough when he is lying down and Brendan’s nose has just been running like a faucet. I expect to hear from both of them in the night.
I am not sure if this is the same bug or a new one, but I am sure ready to be done with it!

Thanks Jonah, Christine, and Johnathon for the extra help tonight!

  1. Oh no! I’m sorry to hear the boys are still sick…or sick again. Maybe you’ll have to take them to the doctor after all, there’s a lot of respiratory stuff going on everywhere now that turns into infections.
Your Kohl’s has a much bigger toy section than ours does, but it seems that Costco is already gearing up for Christmas with cool toys coming in already. Also, it’s only September and they’re baking their pumpkin pies already, which you smell in the parking lot!
I hope Bill is doing well and recovering from surgery. I’ll also hope the boys get well quickly. It seems like with all the rain, humidity, and mosquitoes, you also get all of our typical sinus and bronchial junk, too. 🙁
Sending lots of healing hugs and love,
    Gramma xxxx

  2. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it is NOT, Enterovirus D68. Been hearing a lot about that one, and it has very similar symptoms.
On a brighter note: > ” took them to Kohls this morning and turned them loose in the toy section.” < 🙂 🙂 🙂
    Looks like they had a great time there ! 😉 🙂 ,)

  3. Good afternoon from the East Coast!! Oh boy….or boys, hope their respiratory things exit as quickly as the new symptoms arrived!! I agree with Gramma…much nicer toy section than our Kohls has….looks like they had a lot of fun!! Bill, hope also that you are healing according to schedule and not in much pain!! Good luck tonight Tiffanie!!! May the boys sleep well…and you too!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂
