We finally got another good long storm today. Bill and friends were out in the desert getting totally blasted with rain. The boys and I were happy because the rain took down the temperature and the mosquitoes and we could play outside.

When you are a boy with a sweaty scalp and raindrops in your hair, this is what happens when you dump a shovel full of fine sand on your head.

Seriously, eww! It looked so funny!

The boys loved the mud and water

They were catching rain in their buckets

Then they would dump the rain water in their favorite digging spot

I was shocked that this did not bother him!

They got their favorite bath in the kitchen sink and had some silly time. Bill arrived home safely and helped me get them to bed.

    • I give up! Ever since they updated on my iTouch, I write a long comment, and when I post it, it only sends the first sentence, and I don’t know what happens to the rest! I’ll have to use my laptop in the mornings from now on!
      Lots of love and hugs,

  2. Good morning from the East Coast!! Just watching weather this AM…hoping all of you are OK!!!??? Phoenix was pummeled! That sneezy, coughy, drippy nose, feel crappy bug hit our house too!! Tiffany, you have our admiration, feeling sick and taking care of your precious family!! This is a humdinger of a cold!! Hoping that Bill is healing according to plan! It sounds as though your school system is proactive and that the boys will be able to access any additional assistance that is needed!! That is so important! Thank you for your posts…we really love them!! 🙂 I think I want to come to your house for bathtime!!! Prayers, hugs and love!!! 🙂

  3. Q : How many pounds of mud can one kid carry on his head ?
