The boys spent the morning at Marshalls shopping in the toy section for birthday gifts. Brendan found this blue owl that he loved. He was making it kiss itself in the mirror.
He really loved it
We came back to Marshalls to get the big cement truck Trevor wanted. He got all comfortable in a dog bed in the store to settle in and play with it. He doesn’t know that Gramma is getting it for him and we brought it home with us. It is still in the back of the van!
Brendan gets in on the fun. Next thing I know, they have pillows and blankets and they are going to take a nap.
They actually did nap, and it made them stay awake tonight until 9:45pm! They had lots of energy to run around in their new Lego Crocs. I haven’t been a big fan of Crocs, but these are so cute!!
They make me very tired!

It looks like the boys had fun shopping. That’s funny that they got all comfy in a dog bed for “naps”! 🙂
Aunt Shannon, Uncle Jon and Kieran arrived safely about 45 minutes ago. They had 12 hours in the car today to drive from Toronto. We’re glad they’re safe and sound. Now we can go to bed!

Good morning from the rainy East Coast!! What fun shopping with the boys!! It is heartwarming that Brendan can join his brother in these adventures!! Those dog beds looked truly inviting …must get one for Uncle Rich….he likes to nap when watching TV! Happy to hear that Aunt Shannon and family arrived safely in IL! Soon the boys will be turning 3 and readying for Halloween!! Amazing!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂
