Today should have been a day of fun. Bill had scheduled a vacation day from work and we took the boys to a fall festival. Trevor really enjoyed it last year and I had really been looking forward to taking Bill and Brendan this year. It didn’t work out quite like I hoped. The boys were crabby and uncooperative, it was hot, and it was a lot busier this time. The crowds make it tough.
We had moments of fun, but overall, it was just pretty frustrating!
These are the rubber duck races. They didn’t have anywhere near enough duckies in the troughs so the kids were all stealing them from each other and fighting for turns.

Brendan was so tired that he was signing that he wanted to go to bed. And then he did not nap even a wink!!
Trevor was done too – also no nap
Tonight we harvested all of the pomegranates from the tree. Does anyone want free pomegranates??

Along with the crabbiness and uncooperation, there was a whole lot of cuteness going on!

Good morning from the East Coast! Lets see…all sorts of fun things going on in these posts!! We are happy to see that Bill seems to have fully recovered from his surgery!! Yay Bill!! Bet that Gramma put in an order for your pomegranates….including Brendan of course!! Hmmm, other than juice, what do you do with pomegranates?? My culinary skills are lacking in that category! Just loved the earlier video of the “Boys in the Highchair”!!! Of course, those are mighty fine trucks from Gramma!! Cannot believe that soon the boys will be 3!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂

Last night was “Band and Choir” night for Kayla and Ashley. Ashley sang beautifully, and Kayla made that Clarinet sound G O O D !!! 🙂 🙂
