Year 4 – Week 2 – Day 2

Today was the day we have been waiting for since May. It was the first day that the temperatures were so nice that the air conditioning did not run once all day. We just had all the windows opened up. It was in the mid 70s and partly cloudy all day. PERFECT
We just did housework and played in the dirt. The boys even had to break out hoodies this morning.

Since I have no other photos for today, it is a good time to post some more cute outtakes from last weekend’s photo shoots.

It is also a good time to say that going forward, I am not going to commit to a blog post every day. For three years, a week, and a day, I have posted something. Rain or shine, hospital, surgery, illness, travel, no sleep, no internet.. I always found a way to write for the day.
Now that nap time is gone, the boys are getting up earlier, and I have taken on several other big projects, I need to reclaim some of the time I spend blogging.
Other than the few dedicated commenters, I don’t even know who is reading this anymore.

I will continue to do an update any time I have cute pictures or important news. I will update at least once a week. I can’t imagine a day without a blog post at this point, but I can’t go on posting about doing laundry again and again!

  1. Although I also can’t imagine a day without a blog post, it is totally understandable why you need to not feel as though you have to do it every day. With nurse hours about to be cut again, and the changes in the boys’ sleeping (or not sleeping) habits, your time is stretched even thinner. I don’t know how you did it daily for as long as you have. I’m grateful for all the time you put into it, and I will look forward to the posts whenever you do them. The outtakes are always fun to see. That day I thought we had all outtakes, but as usual, you also got some amazing pictures! 🙂
Lots of love and big hugs,

  2. Nooooooo! (Just kidding)

I, for one, will miss the daily posts. This is true. However, I still, for the time being, get to enjoy a small part of your daily crazies. And, I will enjoy it all for as long as I have the privilege.

  3. Good morning from the “mourning” East Coast!! 🙁 Completely understand the need to cutback on posts!! 🙂 Uncle Rich and I thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for letting us in to your home and family these past three years!!!! What a wonderful gift you have selflessly shared with us!! Of course we will keep checking in and will totally appreciate whatever your family is up to!! Now I truly need to convince Uncle Rich that heading west is a must!! If we do not see all of you “online”…then would love to see you in person!! I’ll keep working on it!! Our good friends just returned from 5 days in Gilbert, AZ….must say I was a bit jealous!! We will keep those prayers going and as always, sending tons of love and hugs!!! 🙂

  4. First, I do understand.
Second, I will check every day just be sure I don’t miss anything,
and Last?, It has been so wonderful seeing the daily ” fun and frivolity “. It will take a while to get used to that not being there every morning.
Thank You!! Tiffanie, for making it possible to watch the boys “grow up”, and become Two “Really Neat” Kids 🙂 🙂
What ever you get to post in the future, will be worth waiting for.

  5. Although I don’t look every day, I do like to keep tabs on Brendan and Trevor. I miss you guys! Life with 3 year olds – more changes to come! I just hope and pray they are healthy and happy ones for you all. I’ll be seeing you. 🙂

  6. Life is about making memories. Some memories are worth keeping in some kind of permanent fashion, to have a record of and be able to look back to. Some memories are best kept as stories, told over and over again. And some memories are best allowed to drift away to make room for others.

We have enjoyed checking in on the boys, and we will keep enjoying the updates that you give! Enjoy reclaiming some of your own time!

  7. I completely understand the need for more time. I have never met you or your family but I feel like I’ve known you for a awhile now. I have read this blog every day since you started it. I have enjoyed watching the babies grow into very active and adorable big boys. I will check every day to see if there is an update. I admire how you have been able to do all you do, you are an amazing mother, wife and daughter. They grow up fast, enjoy every minute–even the most frustrating ones. THANK YOU
