Year 4 – Week 2 – Day 3

I had to do an update today because we made a visit to the pulmonologist’s office. She is very happy with his progress. He was 36.25 inches tall and weighed 28.6lbs. She supports my decision to keep him out of a classroom preschool setting. He is supposed to keep going as is, keeping the vent for support all winter, and then when we see her again in March we can make a plan for decannulation.

This afternoon, the boys were outside digging. (again) They had to come tell me that they discovered “treasure”. They all revealed a large piece of an old defunct network of lawn sprinklers. Excavation and removal kept them busy for a while!

  1. I just couldn’t go to bed without checking the blog, and I was surprised to see one…very pleasantly surprised!
Great news about Brendan! 🙂 I’m sure the doctor was really pleased to hear that he got through a cold without having to go to the hospital or a doctor. He’s definitely getting stronger, and making great progress. Wait till he gets his glasses. I can’t wait to hear what he thinks of them and much more clearly he’ll see.
I’ll bet your little excavators had fun digging up the backyard! Trevor’s face holding the “treasure” is priceless and kind of says it all! 🙂
    I miss my AZ boys!
    Lots of love and hugs,
