Baking with Brendan and Trevor
We had three spotty soft bananas and Trevor asked if we could bake a cake, so we made muffins. (I think he wanted more birthday cake)
First we peeled bananas.
Mashed bananas…
Trevor liked chasing the egg yoke around in the bag
Then add the sugar
And mix
Stir dry ingredients
Together
Get some flour on your thumb and run away
Tasting vanilla extract
We cut the corner of the bag and squeeze it into the muffin pan. (Too messy to do and photo at the same time). Then the baking inspectors come and verify everything is good and sign off on the permits.
These would we cuter with clean magnifying glasses. 🙂
Trevor really likes baking and loved the batter, but then he hated the muffins when they were done. I thought they were really yummy! Brendan wore his glasses here and there today, he likes to pull them off.
He didn’t eat the muffins either.
Later the boys made “mac and roni” for dinner and both ate noodles.
Very cute post! 🙂 I love your comment about the baking inspectors coming and signing off on the permits! Hahahaha! It’s so funny that the boys wouldn’t eat the muffins (especially Trevor) when they were done…probably needed cream cheese frosting! 😉

Good Morning from the East Coast!! This is a terrific post!! Banana muffins are sooo good….the boys will love them….someday!! 🙂 We agree with Gramma….too funny with the inspectors!! They did all that work, and didn’t like the muffins? I have a feeling THAT, will change.

Funny thing: I love licking banana muffin batter too, but every time I try to eat a cooked muffin, I get that weird tingling/itching sensation in my mouth (very minor). So I don’t really eat them much! I would be licking the batter with Trevor!
