Year 4 – Week 4 – Day 4

Four four four. 🙂

I am having a difficult time even imagining the struggle to deal with four to six feet of snow falling in Buffalo. It was chilly enough here this morning that the boys put on sweatshirts.

They won’t be shovelling snow, just throwing dirt.

They don’t have to worry about pulling their cars out of snow drifts.

Trevor says they are riding their “motorcycles”

So far everyone has stayed healthy and Bill is almost over his cold. I hope that continues!

  1. 🙂 🙂 There’s no snow on the ground here, at the moment, some on the roofs and a few flakes falling. It is certainly COLD enough though. Not good “Motor Cycle riding weather”. 😮 😉 🙂

  2. Good morning from the freezing East coast….but no snow!! The aquarium pictures are amazing!! The boys looked totally enchanted!! What a fun outing!! 🙂 Brendan and Trevor look so cute in sweatshirts!! Tell Trevor that we think their “motorcycles” are really cool! Hoping everyone continues to escape Bill’s cold and happy to hear that he is feeling better!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂

  3. When I looked at this blog yesterday morning, my first impulse was to go over to Great-Grandma’s house to show her because she always enjoyed seeing how much fun the boys had with special things she sent to them. She always thought the Jeep videos and pictures were so cute, and she wanted to order a second one right away! She didn’t quite understand at first why you would want Brendan and Trevor to have bikes with no pedals…but then a little boy in our neighborhood had one almost like them, and he’d go like crazy on it when his parents walked his little sister in a stroller! She told me every time she saw him and said she’d like to see the boys on theirs.
I’m sure that there will be many times when the boys do something funny, or wonderful, or exciting, or silly that will cause me to want to show her or tell her, but I know in my heart how she would feel, and she will be smiling, and asking me to “show her again”. Brendan and Trevor held a very special place in her heart, and I hope that future Brendan and Trevor will somehow know that.
    Lots of love and hugs,
    Gramma xoxoxoxo
