It seems that Brendan has made a turn in the right direction and is finally improving. Now everyone else needs to stay healthy!
We had a checkup at the GI doctor this morning. It was a routine visit, and Brendan is doing well. He isn’t gaining weight as fast as they would like, but he was at least up a pound since his last visit.
We ran into Santa Claus in the lobby. His bowl full of jelly belly must visit the GI doctor often. 🙂 Trevor reluctantly sat with him, but the lighting was terrible for my cell phone camera.
Brendan wanted no part, even when bribed with a candy cane. He especially was all done when Santa let out a hearty “Ho Ho Ho”
It was so nice to talk with you twice today! It sounds like Trevor has to do all the work….pump gas, clean the van with a squeegee… 🙂
It is so good to hear Brendan has turned a corner, and could be well and feeling good for Christmas. It was so nice to “talk” with Brendan on the phone tonight. He says so much more now, just since I saw all of you in October! Yay, Brendan! 🙂
I’m surprised Trevor agreed to sit on Santa’s lap, but not surprised Brendan wouldn’t. I don’t think there’s any concern about them not getting presents because they didn’t tell Santa what they wanted!! 😉

Good morning from the East Coast!! Whew!! So relieved that Brendan has turned the corner!! Good visit with the GI doctor!! How cool that there just happened to be Santa in the lobby!! Cute picture with Trevor and Santa!! It seems that Brendan had his own agenda with Santa!!! We sure hope that Mom and Dad are catching up on restorative rest!!! Thanks so much for the post!!! Maybe next year they’ll be a bit more “connected” with Santa. For now, they’re doing just fine.
Sometime next week, I’ll get the tree up and decorated. Then there’s a train show on the 27th and 28th, at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Most everything is still packed up, from Trainfest, so it will be a bit less work.
2015 is now less that three weeks away 😮
