Year 4 – Week 9 – Day 3

Here’s a giant plate of leftovers from yesterday. πŸ˜€

Right after the photo shoot, we took the boys on a “road trip” to Hole-in-the-Rock. They climbed the “mountain” up to the caves and got some nice views of the city. The weather was perfect.

There is a nice trail up to the holes.

Trevor said this rock won’t fit in Daddy’s truck.

Trevor wanted to climb to every ledge and hole

Brendan wanted to be carried to every ledge and hole

We can’t have a photo shoot without outtakes.

Brendan didn’t want the scarf on. It took Bill a while to get him to forget about it.

It is very challenging to get a good picture of a boy. It is nearly impossible to get a good picture of two boys.

Brendan never had the hat on his head for longer than 0.04 seconds. The only shots I got of him wearing the hat was when I could get Bill to drop it on and start taking pics before it got thrown. He HATED the hat.

“I said no HATS!!!!!!”

Trevor loved the hat and all of the glitter that it would shed. It just wouldn’t stay on his head right, it was so big on him.

“Seriously, no hats”

I love Trevor’s expressions, it is hard to pick my favorite

I just want to eat Brendan up with his little faces too

In retrospect, these particular candies were not good bribes for photo shoots.

He might as well have eaten paintballs

  1. This is like 2 blogs in 1! The first part looks like such an interesting and fun place to go visit. The boys sure go to experience some really neat things. πŸ™‚ They have wonderful Event Planners! Trevor was in his element climbing, and with lots of dirt and rocks… Brendan does well to keep up the way he does, even if he needs a little help now and then. πŸ™‚
There is no way to choose favorite pictures in the out-takes! There are some really funny ones, some sweet ones, some silly ones, some serious ones…but they are all super-cute!! I love them all. The boys both have such expressive faces… and those dramatic looks! πŸ™‚ The photographer and her right-hand man are amazing!

  2. I love all their facial expressions. πŸ™‚ B certainly has the drama down! I want to eat him up too. T is a better climber than me! I miss hole in the rock.

  3. ‘Tis the season for “leftovers”, and these were marvelous “leftovers” indeed.
    β€œSeriously, no hats” !! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
There is no doubt that those two boys can “express” themselves. . . . . clearly !!

  4. Good afternoon from the East Coast!! The photos from this and your previous post are remarkable…heartwarming…. and just terrific!!!! Merry Christmas from our home to yours!!! Your two “snowman” bring so much cheer to us blog readers!!! Their photos say so much about their precious personalities and their awesome handsomeness!! (If there is such a word?) AND we looked at the out takes first, thoroughly enjoying them!! Then viewed the previous post and WOW!! Kudos to Mom and Dad (who must be thoroughly exhausted, taking pictures and climbing mountains!!) for a job so well done!! Happier yet to see that everyone seems to be on the mend!! Prayers, hugs and love!!! πŸ™‚
