Year 4 – Week 14 – Day 7

From Wednesday:

Every pillow they could find in a pile made a nice fort for silliness

This video is just more evening antics. I think Trevor wants bubble wrap bags to be considered as a new apparatus in rhythmic gymnastics.

Thursday, Brendan started to need extra suctioning and didn’t wear his cap well. By the evening, he had a full head cold with a stuffy nose and cough. He had a restless night but woke up doing OK. We took it easy all day today and had to cancel school and an activity with the mom’s group. It has been gloomy and rainy all day too.
So, we spent the day indoors in pajamas. The boys sent all the trucks through the car wash, and Trevor used his “sucker truck” to get all the germs off. 🙂

Even the car slippers went through the wash

The sucker truck did a cleanup on Brendan too

Trevor’s restaurant was open for business. He really wants anyone and everyone to “order” food through his little window.

He takes money and puts it in the cash register.

Brendan is weathering this cold well. (SO FAR)

Now we just hope for a good night of sleep and hope that we can all shake off this bug.

Year 4 – Week 14 – Day 4

If you ask Brendan what he would like to do, he always says, “Go to IKEA”. If you tell him that we can’t go to IKEA, where else would he like to go, he says, “Outer space”.
We did get to IKEA today and the boys did some serious walking and playing.

And of course, the $3 lunch for the whole family on Tuesday.

When we got home, Brendan was sitting in his chair getting his formula and he said, “Mommy. IKEA again?”

We’ve created a monster!

Brendan’s teacher was sick last Friday so he has to get up early for school tomorrow. I hope he rests up, he really was busy today!

Year 4 – Week 14 – Day 2

With sparklin’ new kicks, Brendan can now mow the driveway at night. I am not sure how we ever managed before. 🙂

I never knew that young lawnmowers were so wild, like bucking broncos. Good thing we have Trevor the Lawnmower Whisperer.
