Year 4 – Week 14 – Day 7

From Wednesday:

Every pillow they could find in a pile made a nice fort for silliness

This video is just more evening antics. I think Trevor wants bubble wrap bags to be considered as a new apparatus in rhythmic gymnastics.

Thursday, Brendan started to need extra suctioning and didn’t wear his cap well. By the evening, he had a full head cold with a stuffy nose and cough. He had a restless night but woke up doing OK. We took it easy all day today and had to cancel school and an activity with the mom’s group. It has been gloomy and rainy all day too.
So, we spent the day indoors in pajamas. The boys sent all the trucks through the car wash, and Trevor used his “sucker truck” to get all the germs off. 🙂

Even the car slippers went through the wash

The sucker truck did a cleanup on Brendan too

Trevor’s restaurant was open for business. He really wants anyone and everyone to “order” food through his little window.

He takes money and puts it in the cash register.

Brendan is weathering this cold well. (SO FAR)

Now we just hope for a good night of sleep and hope that we can all shake off this bug.

  1. There’s that adorable Brendan smile in the last picture, and you’d never know he’s sick looking at that face! I hope he does shake off this cold quickly and the rest of you stay well.
Trevor has more energy than anyone I know! He’s getting so tall! He plays so hard you’d think he would be exhausted at the end of a day! I know you are!
We’re expecting 10+ inches of snow later today and all day tomorrow. When they add that lake effect snow is likely, you never know what to expect! Then the wind is going to blow, and that makes it all worse. It doesn’t look like this one will miss us.
Lots of love and hugs and get well wishes,
    Gramma xxxxx

  2. Good morning from the Mighty Chilly East Coast!! 10 degrees for us is really cold!! Just love the video of Trevor!! We have flashbacks to cousin Michael when he was Trevor’s age…that limitless energy!! It is delightful but exhausting!! Hoping that Brendan shakes his cold quickly and all of you had a restful night!! And Gramma, we are expecting your snow storm tomorrow night!! We are heading to PA tomorrow AM, so should be in the thick of it!! Hoping all of you escape Brendan’s cold!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂

  3. ” 10+ inches of snow later today and all day tomorrow. ” 😉 😮
Sounds like “model building time” to me. If you want to see what’s under construction right now, (( http://bigbluetrains.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=8064 )) has pictures. Spent the afternoon at Aunt Erin’s helping her paint the front hall bathroom. Cousin Caleb wanted to “help”. Cousin Rhys, just wanted to watch, and be held.
Right now, high cloud and sunshine through it. Right “tomorrow”? I think I will need a bigger shovel ! 😮 😉

  4. Good morning from the Lake House with tons of snow!! Checking in and thinking of you and hoping Brendan and all of you are OK and feeling much better!! Amazing clown, amazing talent, but does have an aura of creepiness about it!! Perfect!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂
