We had a little “surprise egg” fun with the boys this morning.
It certainly didn’t go quite like I expected, but it was still hilarious. The eggs were made of papier mache and filled with candy, stickers and treats. (luckily nothing delicate!) The rainbow egg comes from Brendan’s favorite episode of Team Umizoomi.
And of course the rest of the day was filled with Lego time.
Brendan is still doing fabulous without the ventilator. Most nights he does not even need oxygen.
We will be thinking about Uncle Robert during his heart procedure tomorrow. We all hope it brings a rapid recovery. Big hugs to the whole east coast family!
I loved the video! I wish it could have gone on longer! You come up with the best ideas. The boys always have something fun to do.
Legos, Legos, and more Legos! They are surely a big hit.
We are also sending good thoughts, prayers and wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery to Uncle Robert in New York.

Good morning from the East Coast! Thank you for all the smiles!! The rainbow Easter Eggs are too cute!! Loved the video showing Trevor’s efforts opening his egg!! Trevor, are you sporting big boy underwear these days?? Wow!!! And of course, legos are just THE best!! Still have no time for Uncle Robert’s surgery but will be heading to NYC shortly!! Train show’s done, now I have to get everything back down in the basement, and then go wrestle with the trailer, so I can get the car back in the garage.
Note to self – do not back up the trailer in the dark. (( jackknifed it….now the car’s left rear fender needs a, ‘little repair’ . ))
