Year 4 – Week 24 – Day 1

Yesterday, all three of the boys got haircuts. Bribed with Legos, Brendan let me cut his hair with the clippers and even use the little trimmer on his neck line!

This is Brendan’s chimp pose. He likes to play this way.

He is saying, “Mommy, no camera!!”
424b06

Look, he does windows!

His methods may be a bit unusual…

Trevor’s doo-wop/metal fusion singing. His tune is catchy.

This is made of cute.

The boys were up EARLY this morning. They were ready to go somewhere!

Brendan and Trevor went to a farm, E-I-E-I-O

We went to our usual farm festival place for the “Easter Egg Extravaganza” with egg hunt. I had no intention of being involved in the egg madness, but thought it would be fun to spectate.
The bonus was that everyone in attendance was lined up on the starting line for the egg hunt, so we had the rest of the place to ourselves. The boys were able to spend some time in the bouncy house all alone and not get clobbered by older kids.

The turkeys and roosters were gobbling and crowing constantly at the masses of people. The boys thought it was hilarious.

I am ashamed of the human race now that I have watched an egg hunt in person. It was seriously all done in about 15 seconds. Trampling, crying, hoarding, pushing.. so sad.
We stayed out of it and watched. A very nice employee came up to us and asked if we were OK and did we get any eggs. He gave the boys a bag full so that they weren’t left out.

  1. Wow! There are so many cute pictures and videos! I love love love them! 🙂
We had our windows cleaned today, too, but the 2 men wore different uniforms than your window washer did! And there was no licking the windows to get the tough spots! 😉
It looks like the boys had a good time at the Easter Egg Extravaganza. Why do all of the Easter Bunnies look so creepy? They should be cute and cuddly-looking!
The boys look very handsome with their new haircuts. Brendan’s hair has come in so nicely.
Love Trevor’s singing, and trying to make Brendan look at him and say “I wuv wuv wuv you”! Too cute!! 🙂
Happy Easter and lots of love,
    Gramma xoxoxoxo

  2. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Looks like two boys had a great time !! Eggs and all !

For some odd reason, I can’t shake the expectation that Uncle Robert will “pop up” with a big, loud, “APRIL FOOLS !!!!”.
I just haven’t quite accepted his passing. So many memories.
He’s in a better place, now.

The Pictures, the turkeys, and roosters, and Brendan and Trevor having fun….
Yes, it will be a good Easter this year.

  3. All the boys look dapper. 🙂 The videos are a big hit here; we have to keep watching and watching them. I love B’s no pictures face and It’s window washing style. The farm looks like a ton of fun!

  4. These little guys are just too cute for words!!! Trevor “cleaning” the window is a picture you will have to put up for his first date! I must agree with your Mom, that bunny does not look cuddly or cute. He creeped me out a little. This was a great post though! I have met my smile quota for the day 🙂

  5. Good afternoon from the East Coast!! Definitely a “lots of smiles” blog!! The boys are super cute!! I agree, Brendan’s no camera is cute! Trevor can clean our windows anytime!! He seems to love his work!! Yes, egg hunts open to the public can be a bit hectic!! So happy that the boys were able to share in the eggs!! We too had a fun Easter, albeit missing one special person!! Sending hugs, love and prayers!! 🙂
