Year 4 – Week 25 – Day 1

It has been a long week with no posts! I had a major technical failure with my laptop and I am finally back up and running enough to get a blog done.

Thanks in part to HopeKids, today the boys got to do the county fair!

  1. Nice pictures! I’ve missed seeing what the boys have been up to. It looks like today was a lot of fun. I love the big smile Brendan has sitting in the ball pit. 🙂 I also love the third one of Trevor driving and his mouth stuffed full of funnel cake!
Brendan’s hair looks like it’s getting even more red! They are such cute little boys…not that I am at all biased! 😉 It’s so nice to see them having fun.
We managed to get very lucky and just missed a very dangerous tornado situation on Thursday night. We were right in line for it, and then it changed just enough to miss us. My heart goes out to those families who lost their loved ones, homes, belongings, and pets. It was a devastating storm system.
Lots of love and big hugs to all. Missing all of you,
    Gramma xoxoxoxo

  2. It looks like they had the whole fair to themselves! Mmm, now I want funnel cake. Do you think T would share? 😉

Two boys having such fun with all those balls……..
😮 😮 Oh No!!!! they’re turning into “Pit Balls” !! 🙂 maybe their “bark”, is worse than their “byte”. 😉
(( How’s that for bringing an *old adage* into the digital age 😉 😉 ))

Got to make a reservation for a Cab for Wednesday morning, to O’hare, for the trip to New Jersey.
I have an appointment at the VA tomorrow to follow up on the exercises I am doing, to strengthen the Rotator cuff of my right shoulder.
So far, I have nothing but good things to say about the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. ( I’ve saved all the bad things for the drive to, and from ) 😉 😉 😉
Saw Gramma’s post about the “storms” . . I was watching the weather radar on TV, just to see where that system was headed, and saw the change in heading that sent it off and away from our immediate area.
So much for “winning the lottery”……my *luck*, got used to keep my home in one piece, and me still in it.
