Year 4 – Week 33 – Day 7

The best part about giant paper photo backdrops is the coloring!

And afterwards, having a sundae bar with chocolate lego guys!

There were two sizes of guys, and one mold for a giant one!

Brendan held it and tried to nibble out its M&M brain. It turned to a melted mess of goo!

I have one picture that I forgot to add from yesterday’s photo shoot.

The boys and I drove everyone to the airport and took the sky train. We hope they have a safe flight home!

We were on the way home when Trevor looked up and said, “Oh no!!!” Who is going to cuddle me tonight?!” He cried a lot about his cousins having to leave. He kept saying, “They are gone, gone forever!” It is so hard to have so much attention and then have to say goodbye.

Ashley made up a bedtime song that she sang to Trevor until he went to sleep last night. She made a recording to leave behind to play for him. So sweet!

I will miss all the girls! These last few weeks have been quite an adventure.

  1. I love out takes!! 🙂
Some of them are so funny, and others are just extremely cute! The one of the boys dancing is adorable. The ones of the girls being silly are…well…silly! I love them all! 🙂
Poor Trevor, I know how he feels saying goodbye. I felt that way after everyone left here the same day. 🙁
It’s so nice that Ashley recorded a song for Trevor. What a good idea! They should be landing in about an hour. I’ll bet they are tired girls.
    Lots of love and hugs,

  2. I could almost hear Brendan, saying,
” I like this new sofa, it’s nice an soft and it giggles”.
I think there are some cousins who will miss each other.

  3. Good morning from the East Coast!! These past two posts are just priceless!! The out takes are terrific. Love Brendan sitting on Trevor….and all the girls are wonderfully silly!! What a wonderful opportunity for the girls to have bonding time with the boys…..poor Trevor, he was not ready to let go. 🙁 We must say that you are the master of tie dying!! Are you sure you were not born in the sixties??? I’ll check with Mom! 🙂 Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂
