I am just posting a quick update tonight.
We found out on Tuesday that the Kids-Eat-Free Tuesdays at IKEA are over for the summer! Now we will have to pay the $2.99 for Trevor’s favorite lunch ever. 😉 😀
This morning, we went to check out a new splash pad and playground. As we pulled up in the parking lot, Trevor says, “Whoa! This is incredible!!”
We are expecting some big rain this weekend. Hopefully there will be no flooding and damage.

Vernon Hills Got a downpour ! It wasn’t 40 Days and 40 nights…..but it sure felt like it ! 😮 🙂
One of my friends surprised me with an invite to spend a day on the Chain-O-Lakes on a Pontoon Boat, Sunday the 26’th. I haven’t been on the water in “an age”, so I definitely said YES. Looking forward to that, hope the weather cooperates. 😮 I’ve only got 8 days to get a “base tan”, and will probably still have to use some SPF 70 lotion to keep from totally frying.
