Year 7 – Week 33 – Day 1

It was a beautiful day for crazy playing in the backyard. Gramma’s lawn is so soft and fluffy compared to Arizona grass. It was so humid that the bubbles would land on the grass and not break.

Samurai Trevor had to take on bubble assassination duty

Bubble mania

We didn’t do the “boys running in circles on the deck” video this time because Kieran and Malcolm weren’t here. So there is “boys running in circles in the yard” to fill in for now.

We promised some people at home that we would eat some White Castle sliders, so today was the day.

Hot tub every day! Brendan made sure it happened.

Year 7 – Week 32 – Day 6

Thanks to Aunt Erin and family, we spent the day at Brookfield Zoo.

Croc doesn’t stand a chance against horde of cousins

I think the snake is listening

When the sculptures are more fun than seeing the real thing…

Impossible to get them all to look at the camera!

I had better luck getting 20 goslings to say cheese!

The special spider exhibit was cool, but I can tell what was Brendan’s favorite part!

Year 7 – Week 32 – Day 5

The boys got on their party clothes to get ready for Caleb and Rhys’s combined birthday celebration!

Their party was at a Bowlero. This would have been a great picture of the boys and their cousins if my phone camera was able to focus in the low light!

That was all the sitting together they were willing to give me. Rhys was on the move!

There was so much energy, nobody was going to sit for pictures

Caleb wanted me to take a picture of his spinning light tricks

Bowling time

Yummy food

Cute cousins!

It would only be $13,000 to get a Space Invaders game like this in our home. If I had the cash, I would!

On the way to the party, we passed an Army helicopter in a park. We promised the boys that we would check it out on the way home. It was in Veterans Park.

This helicopter saw action in Vietnam. It suffered a lot of damage over many years of service.

Trevor really likes all of the insignias

Brendan was impressed with the lush green “jungles” they have in Illinois.
