This week has flown by. We heard back on Brendan’s sleep study – all normal! We have a follow up with pulmonology on April 9th to see how he is doing off of the vent. At that point, the vent might get picked up for good! We also heard back on the bloodwork – all normal! His formula is not needed additional supplementation.
We have all had head colds this week, stuffy/runny noses mostly. It hasn’t been serious yet, just annoying. Brendan is doing great!

Second Tuesday of every month is free admission day at the Desert Botanical Garden. We had never gone before so we met Bill after work. Nothing was blooming yet, maybe next month will be better.

Trevor is pulling Brendan away from the cactus to keep him safe

Trevor said, “Aww little baby cactus! They’re so cute!!”

We are already hitting high 80’s for temperatures. We’ve been playing outside in the mud and water and trying to avoid turning on the air conditioning!

Yesterday, Bill took the boys out west to Uncle Ken & Aunt Barbara’s ranch. They got to explore the model railroad layout, meet some of the animals and just play out in the dirt. I got to stay home… alone! I had about 6 hours to myself in the house to get some projects done.

Today was Bill’s turn to go out and leave the boys with me. They were still tired from yesterday’s adventure.

So far, Brendan is doing well with no vent at night.

Yesterday, we went to get Trevor some new sneakers. He picked out “Star Wars Lightsaber Duel” shoes. One shoe flashes a blue saber, and the other is red. He could not be swayed, they are pretty cool shoes.

Today, we ran errands all day after Brendan’s school in the morning.
Then we hit the park to fly a kite. It is a shame that the wind was blowing directly into the direction of the setting sun. It made it hard to watch the kite.
Brendan decided that he didn’t like the sun and the kite so only Trevor stayed to fly it. Brendan went to the playground.
