Do you see it now?

Brendan is going to love this picture when he is grown up…NOT!

He did a great job wearing his Paw Patrol underwear today. 2.5hrs, no accidents, one trip to the potty. Yay Brendan!

The boys were playing outside in their undies today, which seems very odd when family members east of us are chillin’ in sub-zero temps. We are expecting mid 80’s this week!
Trevor got out the classic tricycle again. He can finally reach the pedals! I couldn’t believe how big this thing was. I thought they would be too old for it before their feet could reach. Trevor is fast, Brendan’s legs are maybe a little short still, and Brendan didn’t want to wait his turn!

We’ve been a little worried today. Trevor’s cold had a bit of a flare up and his little nose was really plugged up today. He has his big adventure with Daddy this weekend, I hope he sleeps real well and is feeling good in the morning.

Year 4 – Week 15 – Day 5

I have a little catching up to do.

Brendan is a little jealous of all the attention that Trevor is getting for riding his bike, so suddenly Brendan is very interested in his bike. Trevor is getting too good on his bike.

Trevor has this new game where he likes to charge straight for me and put the brakes on at the very last second. He is actually good with stopping on time….so far.

Superbowl Sunday, we woke up to heavy fog! It was totally gone once the sun came up.

We’ve just been keeping busy while the boys get over their little colds, which so far have been mild. We all seem to be on the mend.
They love to paint!

We’ve had meetings and phone calls and paperwork and craziness all week. Brendan will soon be starting with a new speech therapist, a feeding therapy program, his PT is getting bumped up to weekly and he still sees his pre-school teacher every Friday.
Our nursing review meeting resulted in no changes to our hours – what a surprise!

Brendan has pretty much given up napping now too. Fun times!

Year 4 – Week 14 – Day 7

From Wednesday:

Every pillow they could find in a pile made a nice fort for silliness

This video is just more evening antics. I think Trevor wants bubble wrap bags to be considered as a new apparatus in rhythmic gymnastics.

Thursday, Brendan started to need extra suctioning and didn’t wear his cap well. By the evening, he had a full head cold with a stuffy nose and cough. He had a restless night but woke up doing OK. We took it easy all day today and had to cancel school and an activity with the mom’s group. It has been gloomy and rainy all day too.
So, we spent the day indoors in pajamas. The boys sent all the trucks through the car wash, and Trevor used his “sucker truck” to get all the germs off. 🙂

Even the car slippers went through the wash

The sucker truck did a cleanup on Brendan too

Trevor’s restaurant was open for business. He really wants anyone and everyone to “order” food through his little window.
414t07

He takes money and puts it in the cash register.

Brendan is weathering this cold well. (SO FAR)

Now we just hope for a good night of sleep and hope that we can all shake off this bug.
