The boys had their 3yr wellness checkup with the pediatrician today. He was so excited to see them doing so well (and that it had been a while since we had to visit!)

The boys love to play with the scopes.

I told Trevor that only the doctor is allowed to stick the otoscope into Trevor’s ear. Trevor says, “I am a doctor too!”

Trevor is checking Brendan’s reflexes.

Brendan thought I said “Oh, Toe Scope!

He also used it to fill the tires on the cars on the walls.

Trying to get Brendan to stand on the scale was like trying to put a cat into a bucket of water. Each time I would try to stand him on the platform, he would spread his feet out wide or pull them up in front of them. If I tried to sit him on the baby scale, he would plank out straight. We finally had to have the nurse weigh herself and then weigh again holding him and take the difference. Naughty!

Brendan checked in at 36in tall and 28lbs, Trevor is 38in tall and 29.6lbs. They both got A+ checkups. Trevor got the fancy computer vision scan and it was perfect. Brendan sees his vision specialist at the end of the month.

Brendan has orders to get an x-ray of his right foot. He has a little turn to his foot and toes and they just want to check his skeletal structure. If the bones look good, we will just have to make a note for his PT to help us work on his stance and keeping his feet straight.

Both boys got flu shots and were super good!

I forgot these pictures from yesterday of Trevor sprawling in the king sized bed. He slept in until almost 8:30 yesterday. Today, he was up in the night at 1 and 4 but then he stayed in his own bed until he woke up at 7:15.

I was not ready for the day, I wanted to go cocoon myself in bed like Trevor for many more hours. I drove the boys around downtown Mesa and then we took a little walk around to watch all the tons of construction going on as they expand the light rail system.
Then we stopped at got them a “Krispy Scream” donut.

I had a hard time handling the energy level today, but soon enough we reached the night routine. We had a tea party in the bath tub.

Bill had to work at 7:00PM tonight until who knows when, so bedtime routine was all me. The boys were tired though so all went well.
