4 days!!!! Packing, prepping, cleaning, arranging, wracking the brain to make sure we have thought of everything…tick tock!

I forgot I had this picture from yesterday morning. This is the first time I have ever been able to convince Trevor to try on the therapy vest. He thought it was funny and he liked what it did to his voice, but he was done with it in about three minutes.

Nap time today, it took 45 minutes or so, but he eventually found a place to sleep. This time it is in his wagon, and that is his white noise generator that he has pulled down on to his belly.

Here’s a close up of the same shot, he turned the noise machine to music.

Not sure why I decided to work on these today. The last time the boys played in the rain, the top edges of the new rubber boots left really bad chafe burns on the boys’ calves. These flannel sleeves will stop that.

I didn’t realize at all that they could be tested tonight!

Neither boy wanted an umbrella.

The rain was fast and furious, and then gone. It just left big puddles for splashing.

We were lucky the rain gave us something active to do tonight. The boys still are fighting going to sleep though!

I didn’t have time for playing with the camera today, we are kicking it to high gear when it comes to packing and planning. Thanks to spycams, I have a bit to share.

One silly Trevor sleeping position. He ended up sleeping in his rocking chair for about 3 hrs again last night.

I did a ton of laundry today and then set up a table in Trevor’s room so that we could sort through all of the clothes and organize outfits for each boy and figure out what we are missing. We have LOTS of clothes. The boys are set!

5 days until departure!

6 days! I have started the laundry with the trip in mind. We are packing things into the trailer, including weird things that you wouldn’t normally take on vacation like an industrial snap press.
While we are counting down, I should mention that departure day is also Bill’s birthday. What a way to spend a birthday, on the road with 2 x 2yr olds!

We did a bunch of sorting of drawers, pulling out anything that we could put in to “the Kieran box”

We had to call in the expert to work on Trevor’s rocking chair because it had such a bad squeak.

Trevor did take a nap today, in the middle of his floor. I will take it!!

Brendan is drinking straight raspberry lemonade out of a rocket. He has mastered the straw!

Buying one rocket cup means buying two rocket cups.

We’ve had yet another nurse give her notice. We must be chasing them away. When we get back from our trip, we will be interviewing replacements again. That is, if our hours are not cut next week when we get our evaluation.
