When it is 110 degrees, I am so grateful that we can now spend hours in the pool. And we did… nearly four hours. I have two little fish for boys. I got a chance to play more with my new waterproof camera. I took hundreds of pictures. It was hard to narrow it down to ones I liked best, so I am posting a ton!
We were invited to go to this aquatic center because they installed a “Flowrider” surfing simulator and our friends were eager to try it. Trevor was nervous, but he rode the waves pretty well!
The zero-edge pool with the dumper-buckets was probably the favorite part though.
There was a nice splash pad too
Brendan’s friend Graham waits for the splash
Trevor is leaping off of the springboard in to 13ft deep water with no life jacket. My nerves!! He is doing so well!
He went on the Flowrider again! Twice was enough though. He saw a lot of people wiping out hard and he was a afraid.
Graham’s brother Dan was the one that was eager to check out the Flowrider. He and his friend rode over and over the whole hour they were allowed.
Trevor was back to the buckets where he liked it best

More handstands
Trevor is not a fan of opening his eyes underwater without goggles. I got him to look once!

Trevor’s face says it all
Floating Trevor
Sarah dared Dan to jump off the high dive, with a prize of an extra 20 minutes of staying up past bedtime. He proceeded to jump about 8 more times..
The sunscreen was wearing off and I had to force the boys out of the pool!
