This month has been eventful to say the least. We had a new nurse training with us today to take over two days a week. Two nurses in the house, plus Bill having the day off made for a busy household. Trevor was a little thrown off by all of the attention on Brendan, so we escaped to someplace cool. The Lego Store!

He will sit at the play table and build until you drag him out of there. (Can’t blame him, so would I!)

I was surprised by the very edgy/odd haircut on this young girl that sat next to Trevor. It was all but shaved all the way around, then plastered over her eye in the front with the colored ends. I really like funky hair and respect people that are bold enough to wear it, but I have mixed feelings about it on such little kids!

Brendan did a great job today with nurse training. He wore his cap all day with no oxygen for the second day in a row. It is awesome!!

We would like to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day, and we hope everyone was safe and well. Bill got our new flagpole mounted so that we could fly our flag today in honor of all those who have served and sacrificed.

It was a better day. I am not feeling well yet, but I got through the day with saltines and plain rice. Bill got a tremendous amount of work done off of our ongoing to-do list. He finished the painting and mounting of the ironwork for the wall outside.

We tried to enjoy the evening while it is still nice enough to be on the patio.

We didn’t want to go in when it was so nice out. So we decided to do the bubble bath outside. The air was warm, but the hose water was not. Bill kindly brought buckets of hot water from the kitchen to make their bath nice.

Our wall has a bunch of solar lights, just bright enough for some “ambiance”.

Trevor has this new trick that he does where he leans way out over the footboard on his bed and opens the top of his dutch door so he can look out. He did this at 5:30 this morning, and he did it about 5 minutes ago as I type. I hope he sleeps well. We all need the rest.

I don’t have any pictures tonight, and I am too tired to type much. The boys’ health is improving, but I woke up at 5am with simultaneous chills and sweats and nausea. Without over-elaborating, I spent half my day in the bathroom.
I am tired of being so tired, I can’t believe I am sick again and now I go to bed with the anxiety eating at me that this will spread to the rest of the family.

I hope a night of rest will make a big difference.
