This day could have been much worse. Brendan is still junky sounding but has no other symptoms or impact to his numbers. Trevor only sounds hoarse and wheezy when he gets really upset or when he wakes up from sleep. I think the humidifier is helping there and I have kept up with ibuprofen. I have the wet feeling lungs tonight with that tickly irritating cough but otherwise I feel fine… for now. Bill is doing better today.

This morning, I had a ton of stuff I was trying to cross off of the to-do list, so Bill took Trevor with him on an errand and to visit Max & Tammy’s house.
Trevor really liked their quads.

I am surprised he wasn’t trying to get in the swimming pool!

He brought home a big bag of fresh picked oranges and grapefruits! He was very excited to tell me about picking BIG oranges.

He was happy to rearrange the sprinkler system.

He’s going to move firewood.

I think he was just so happy to be running around outside. He met a new cute dog too.

I think this looks so much like Bill’s childhood photos!

I did a lot of fast sewing this morning. I fixed the curtain in the window dividing the playroom from the living room. It now has planets and stars instead of monkeys! 🙂 I also made covers for some storage bins for in that room. I let Brendan be free and he walked all over the house. I think he was thrilled to have the freedom of no-Trevor time. Then he chased me up and down the halls and in and out of all the rooms. He was tired! We did several vest sessions too. I really hope we can sail past this and not get any worse.
I was too busy for pictures, but I snapped one of Brendan and his favorite thing.

I hope the east coast crew made it safely to Gramma’s house and that all goes well this weekend!

I am nervous about this weekend. Bill is sick today with a tight chest, bad cough, body aches and cold sweats. Brendan has coarse lung sounds and extra secretions too. He has been in a good mood and doesn’t act sick yet, and his numbers are very good. Still, there is something not right.
Other than being super tired, I am OK and so far Trevor is fine.

This morning, Trevor helped put together his step stool. Bill is going to do a little modification to add some side walls for safety, and then Trevor will be able to help in the kitchen without standing on the edge of a chair.

Brendan was clowning around.

He really wanted to know what Trevor was doing in the other room.

Brendan got extra vest treatments today. We want to do everything we can to mobilize the mucus and keep him healthy.

I hope both B’s can shake this off quickly and that both T’s stay well!!

1:20AM EDIT: So much for that idea. Trevor just woke up with that dreadfully distinct wheezing sound. I just scrubbed out and turned on his cool mist humidifier and gave him some ibuprofen. Here we go again. 🙁 So far Brendan is sleeping well with good numbers.

I made up for yesterday by working doubly hard today to check some things off of our to-do list. Top of the list was finishing the carpet in the playroom. It is done to the point that we are ready to share some pictures! There is still lots of detail work to finish. It is so empty now, it will NEVER look like this again!

What does Trevor do with a big empty room with fresh carpet? He has to vacuum!

The little nook in the corner has our IKEA couch that fits just perfectly. I will be making it a nice durable cover.

The ceiling has some cute space-themed decals. I still have a ton of glowing stars to put up.

That little art project that we were doing was the customization of the boring white ceiling fan. It is supposed to be like the sun in the middle of the sky. 🙂

Brendan checked it out too before going on a walk outside with Bill.

Here’s a quick video showing the sillies eating some ice cream tonight. Brendan was doing a pretty amazing job of dipping a fork in it and then licking it. Then there is a little silliness running around in the new open space.

Hopefully we can accomplish as much tomorrow! We still have a big list!
