More sick cousins today – Kayla came home from her retreat feeling a head cold coming on. We hope she gets better for the first day of school. Baby Rhys seems to have caught the bug from his mommy and is all congested and has a fever. Poor little guy, everyone in that family needs to get better and/or stay healthy. Trevor and Caleb love to play together so much and this is the second time that illness has kept them apart. 🙁 So far, Brendan and Trevor are OK.

While Brendan was stuck to his food pump, Trevor went next door to Great-Grandma’s house to play the marble game.

We went to spend some time with Aunt Beth and Uncle Steve and more cousins from Bill’s side of the family. They gave Brendan an old Buzz Lightyear and he was happy all night.

I haven’t done a great job of taking pictures of people other than the kids. Only one more day in town before we get back on the road for the long haul home.

The boys spent the morning with their Granddaddy, and then he followed us to the playground to watch the insanity in motion. Brendan was climbing up and going down huge slides all by himself. He would try to climb anything!

It is crazy to drive more than 1800 miles to go to a school playground, but the ones close to home don’t have Kierans in them.

Gramma and aunts assembled lots and lots of lasagna!

I am not sure how the “Naughty Step” works in this house. I put Trevor to sit on the stair for a little time out, but then Gizmo joined him and they both had too much fun.

I ran out of energy to take pictures at the lasagna party, but it was a full house! It was good to see so many friends and family. We feel so bad for Caleb who was not able to come play because Aunt Erin has bronchitis. I hope she feels better quickly.

It is sad that the full cousinpallooza is over as quickly as it begun. Aunt Erin got sick and stayed home with her boys today and then in the afternoon, Kayla had to leave on a weekend retreat. By the time she gets home, Kieran and family will be gone. So the seven cousins were only ever all together at the same time for about 8 hours!

We are having breakfast with Granddaddy in the morning, then meeting with cousin Lindsay and her new husband in the evening.
